I think no need to setup. If u r in location where edge is available, then u will online with edge speed. If not, then gprs lor.

I would like to take the 161.5 package too, but i dun need the laptop and hp. Anyone here is interested to buy this 2 items? i can sell ard RM2500 for both thing.

Can i do this?

Now i am doing this in my house using streamyx. my connection is as below:

telephone outlet---------adsl modem------wireless router to create wifi

then all com in my houses share the internet connection. but all com in yr house must hv wireless adapter .

I hv thot of another approach. If i connect the 2pc in my house by network cable, i setup the internet share in window then 2 pc can oso access to internet, rite?

In my case, i think the internet speed is not much a problem as my house mate and me normally seldom online together.

Yup, this is one of the drawback. unless u can leave yr simcard to ur house mate lor. But no matter streamyx/jaring/maxis/digi, u only can either choose mobility/fixed only.

Dude, u still hvnt count in the monthly fixed line telephone charge if the line is solely means for streamyx. can save another RM27/month there.

U dun need activesyn to connect the ipaq to pc, use "modem link" program in yr ipaq to connect to internet. Anyway u hv to setup a dial up networking in yr window.

I did this in my pc, but i am using xp and not vista.

cy97 is absolutely rite. Modem link has already been installed in my ipaq, i thot it comes with window mobile. If u cant find, u can google it and download from net.

U can select usb/infrared connection in modem link. I select usb anyway. Before connect yr ipaq to pc, u shld deactivated yr activesync first. When yr ipaq is connected, it shall be auto-detected in window. Afterthat just follow cy97 procedures to setup a dial up.

I din take the offer as i prepare to sell off the notebook.

I subscript this digi promotion on 20/7/07 and recif call from tiongnam (HP transporter) by today and they will deliver the notebook and hp b4 5pm today.

I think it is super fast.. yahoo....

I faxed the application form (downloaded from digi website) directly to HP on 20/7/07. I still hvnt get anything yet, even the sim card, i thot they will send together this afternoon?

Yahoo.... just got my notebook and hp. I will drop by University Malaya (Varsity Communication) to collect my sim card tomorrow.
