Actually Mykris is using wireless solution NOT fixed line by TM. What they do is they would set up a wireless station at the top of apartment and there would be router or what not ...than they would pull down cables, add switches and connect to each apartment that requires their service. What i do is just plug in the cable to my laptop and i am online just like streamyx. No dial-up, and you wish to share the line with other pc at your home just buy a router be wired or wireless. The speed is good and stable as shown below. Previously when i used digi edge, i would have to bring my laptop to Starbuck to download heavy stuff or doing windows update, and bt is taking like months to download a movie, with my current line, i have download more than 10 movies with daily usage up to 2 gig per day, looking at the fact that i only use it at night when i back from work. I believe another choice is Jaring wireless, but they charge you one lumpsump of 2K/2years (rediculous!). Anyway i still think that standalone wireless modem is still inferior compared to fixed line or wireless station based solution like Mykris.

1 HP 520 come with 512MB DDR2 RAM and can be upgradeable to 2 GB DDR2 RAM.my advise is better u upgrade to 1.5GB

   I'm not sure WM6 is same features not, I've tried Asus P7 which WM6, it come with a small program call "Internet Sharing Connection", once u plug the USB to ur PC, (Active Sync will auto connect & sync), run the "ISC" (ISC will disable Active Sync & establish the gateway for ur PC.

For using of yr ipaq as modem, u just activate a program in yr phone called "modem link" then connecting the phone to yr notebook via usb/bluetooth. Yr phone will be automatically detected in win xp (vista i am not sure) as usb/wireless modem.

Afterward, setup a dial up with the following configurations:
username & password : blank
Dial no: *99#

U shld able to online now.

I just seen my friend received the good today. The phone 512 seem nice to use. The notebook a bit akward... for price tag rm 2699, no TV-Out, no card reader and small battery pack and new design of touch pad. I think Acer Travelmate 4170 AMD TUrion64x2 at RM 1999 give more power and package than this 520 from HP.

what do we get from HP 520 so called business class when most of the stuff is not provided. other model and brand lower than that price tag gave so much more accessories and stuff.

Btw are you sure a full charge 4 cell battery for Intel Duo Core 1.6ghz can last 1 hour 45 mins? Cause my Acer 6 cell running at 800mhz on battery mode can last 3 hours with WiFi on.

u tested at night time? what about day time at different location?
As I said..don't expect EDGE as fast as your 512/1Mbps broadband.. by right, it should be compete with old day ISDN 128kbp.

Sometime, I don't think those speed test can be a standard for us to judge the wireless speed performance as its "wireless", signal wave running up & down.

try emule or browse certain web which running flash would be good to judge it.

thats the different location "free time slots" cause the connection. This issue ain't your phone or edge device.

I've tested two different day & time at DiGi CS place (SS2 branch), both about 160kbps average.

I'm quite satisfied with the speed as I bought Jaring 512kbps Wireless(SOMA) home, also around that speed. 
(But its big device..while DiGi just mobile phone )

erm...ya...below 50kbps...slower than dial-up...    maybe u should monitoring more days in same place/area, check out if any changes
