Hi guys getting unifi 30Mbps to be installed tmr. Anything that I should look out for?

oh ppoe password will not be given in the list of pw. Ok noted  . I will monitor the router performances 1st, hope get Netis instead of Aztech. I heard aztech wifi signal very weak.

can anyone help with my ethernet connection. I'm trying to connect my unifi home fibre to my pc via lan connection. How do i do it ?

Do I connect the pc to the wireless modem or optical terminal network modem ?

Ya dlink covr1100 as stock router. I think it depends lo, my installer say router no stock due to lots of installation near my area so he had to rush to find stock. 4k streaming as mentioned by other forummer can but strictly limited to no other heavy usage only, netflix recommend 25Mbps for 4k streaming.

yo guys, any sifu here knows what router to get for 500mbps? or there is no router can reach that speed? any basic recommendation?

Reboot time is fast but it also it has problems routing my traffic thru PiHole which i run on my Rasp Pi connected to LAN port. Sometimes my devices lost internet connection. And TP link mesh is 1 router+ many range extenders.

Is anyone experiencing slower speed today?
I'm on 500Mbps line but my speedtest shows 420+Mbps.

Last week, I got 500+ Mbps consistently.

I'm moving into a new house and REALLY am having a hard time on choosing what broadband to subscribe to. Can u guys give me a good honest suggestions on which telco should i go with? For now, I'm 50% on Maxis Fibre side but please, need your experiences and suggestions. 2nd on my list is Celcom Fibre but can't really find a review for it. Unifi fibre is the 3rd one. I'm going for the 500mbps plan btw and will be moving to Puncak Alam (Selangor) area.

Hope you guys can really help. REALLY really need the help right now 😂😂

Based on current prices, go for Maxis. No idea about Celcom prices. I've not used either in my house which has been on Unifi for the last 8 yrs.

Damn thats nice. currently using 500mbps. Once i get enough people to rent my unifi, maybe ill upgrade to 800Mbps or 1Gbps thats rumored to be released next year

Hi, anyone know why some of the pc unable to connect to the internet in the similar network.

I was only able to connect with the internet with automatically detect settings for proxy server is turned off for the affected pc.

Was able to ping Google or YouTube even if the browser shows no internet.

The unaffected pc is remained with automatically proxy server turned on.

Kinda weird as the problem just arised yesterday with no software or hardware changed.

Not sure if this is related to unifi.

As for lowest rm69 promotion packages 30mb , what BTU did we get ?  ( i did ask at previous post https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=findpost&pid=99428755 )

I read some of the post here , TM give us some cheap BTU and router.If you don't put a fan or restart them both a few times a every week , we will be getting slow connection.

Also , i see read a user post saying if BTU spoil need to pay to buy a new one and do own setting.
At BTU what setting we can change if connection slow ? if getting a new BTU from shope or laz ? must certified by unifi ? what setting to match the current BTU setting ?

Does resetting port = restart BTU ? because mostly on tech support 100 call by TM always asked to turn off the BTU.
Overall reason is have faster connection without overheat but turning off the BTU does help sometimes.

Can we extend a fast connector from one end to the other end ?
Just wanted to extend the the fiber connect to BTU to other location temporary.Need to use the wall plug for other usage for a week,  but the connector connect to BTU is just 1 meter length.

What kind of adapter standard Unifi is using ? just want to extend it temporary.
How much does it cost ?

Buy an adapter and fiber cable connect both and I can move the BTU futher to other place.

For the yellow patch cord , we need to use one male and one female connector , right ?

Shopee got sell ready made sc-sc connector patch cord ...
But both connectors are male type.

Observed that u made ur own fiber patch cord .
Did u own fiber cut tool ?
Can amateur do the patch cord make job ?
