2.6k is 3007wfp which dun hav scaling chip as 3008wfp and also lack of multiple connection

if its 2.6k i already hav 1 on my desk confirmed, and another 1 dis coming christmas

definitely lcd tv in terms of picture quality wont win a 30" lcd monitor
coz 30" is capable to disply 2560x1600 and its s-ips panel
therefore d price is far more expensive than lcd tv

Just because it has more pixels, doesnt mean it is better. Improper scaling of 1080p source can potentially make it look worse. Console gaming always come in 1 reso only, and those extra monies can be more wisely spent on hd audio.

Going to buy a new PS3 for this coming Raya holiday.
Very excited, but still need to read and dig more information.

Hm..anyone want to buy my 32" Samsung tongue.gif . Reading through the thread make me regret buying it.
I'm thinking of Sony. Seems, a lot recommend that.

Batman - Dark Knight bluray already come out?

Will be posting some pics later. laugh.gif

hey in accordance to my why should i buy a ps3 thread i forgot to ask, my 37 inch lcd philips, its not full HD but its HD ready, i know there would be a difference in quality, and as the tv is not that new, how would it affect my blu ray experience? its still good enough right, i mean with the x360, its pretty impressive.

x360 and PS3 both displaying at 1080p the fact that PS3 is using blueray media is not relavent, Its just can store more data only. So if x360 is pretty impressive on your 37 inch lcd.. it will be equally impressive as well for PS3.

Remember don't use PS3 to play DVD. You should use HDMI DVD player.. my fren use it too often then the bluray head die and get replace for almost RM400.

sorry ler bro.. like that you can't get 5.1 surround sound from PS3. To do so, you'll need compatible home theater system that at least accepts digital in (optical / hdmi). looks like yours cant so.... time to upgrade smile.gif

i am having the same Bravia as you! but mine is S400A. use the AV cable that come with the package. in the xmb audio settings, set the audio out using that.

u shud be able to connect the audio/av cable to ur HT.

his HT only have 1 input for his dvd player... assuming that he have additional analog input for PS3, he won't get 5.1 surround with analog input. Only stereo or all channel stereo (meaning all speakers playing at same time). He'll never get real surround effect which is a waste for PS3 tongue.gif
