replace 1 airpod RM485

I get feedback from 2 of my friends that sent in early this year for service, and they get back same serial number airpods pro.

One of them saying that the battery life getting worse after sent in…

Has anyone managed to do replacement for cracking sound (non eligible for sound issues programme)? I managed to do replacement for left side (Feb 2022). Today I went to QCD sunway, they said my unit not eligible, last time able to exchanged coz still under warranty period. Now my warranty over already.If I know I will insist them to do replacement for both that time. Anyone had experience for non eligible unit?

You should be able to claim if you can prove that your unit is less than 3 years old from purchase date.

But apple advisor still highlighted this manufacturing date. Quite tired to call their senior advisor tomorrow.

My air pods pro bought on Feb 2020 also got problem.

Went last month for speaker issue (the recorded voice is bad but hearing is ok) with slightly crackling sound on left side, but the girl warned me that I need to pay RM 100 if found out there's no issue with the 3 conditions for free repair.

Then one month later, the crackling sound got worse and it hurts my left ear. Trying to switch between transparency mode to active noise cancellation but must do it when the airpods are in my ears... so the loud crackling sound hurt my left ear again and again...wondering if I should see doctor... a bit painful though...

Asked the Switch service centre if they perform preliminary test but she said no free test... once sent for diagnosis, need to pay RM 100 if the problem is not under Apple coverage program...

But if the problem is really crackling or static sound, then they will repair for me... dunno if they will only repair crackling sound and ignore the mic recording problem or repair all... feel like they are so money-oriented...

Any recommend good and affordable case for APP?
eg: Spigen?

Guys, why does the AirPods Pro keep draining battery one? I feel that the battery doesn’t last long anymore even if I don’t use them.

the battery is small and it's been more than 3 years usage (if u purchase on release)

personally for my use case I can still use for like maybe 1.5 - 2 hours before recharge with the case.

Im using Uniq Terra leather case. Cheap and good. Been with me for 2 years going 3, still looking like out of box.

I have one question…the bottom section is so tight, how do you remove it? Thanks.

Simply plug in the lightning charging cable and push it up, its not that tight actually.
With the microfiber lining, its actually slippery to push out with that.

The same can be practice for other cases as well.

Hi, wondering whether anyone can share answers/solutions:

I have APP V1 already 3 years, and now the case is not charging. Tried the hard reset, works 1 time and now back again.

So I want to ask:

1) Is there a service for APP case charging issue? If yes, roughly how much?
2) Is it better to buy a replacement case only? Coz the buds still working fine
3) or, just shut up and buy new buds

how long magsafe takes to charge from 0 to full?

Never did a full charge from 0 before but at low batt to full takes about 90 mins +/-

It's sad that my left AirPods Pro got static noise and doesn't entitle for replacement service program.
