By the way, this new Airpods Pro, the freaking ear cover cannot be removed! This one is like stuck to the damn ear buds and the only way to remove it right now is to actually destroy the ear tips.

The last airpods pro I had, i could remove the ear tip on and off easily.

I need help. My right APP not working anymore. Nothing change even I forget the device and pair again to my iPhone.

When paired, the right APP show battery icon, but no charging sign. No more warranty as I bought it 1.5 years ago. Anything I can do before I bring it to authorized center to check?

No solution yet. I wasn't sure is that right APP dead.

I followed solution 2 and 5 in the guide below, and my right APP working again now. I suspect it's the casing contact pin issue instead of my APP faulty.

Just wanna share my recent experience.

recently went to the beach.

i usually keep my APP in its case, hanging from my pants/shorts using a carabiner.

were organizing some games, wasnt directly doing any physical activities, so i wasnt worried about my APP.

some of the game participants did throw some water balloons to me, so i did run away.

Anyway, at night after dinner, wanted to use my APP, lo and behold, left earbuds missing!!!

Find My app showed my left earbuds last location was at the beach,
went to the beach around 12am, and found it!

my APP is the new one, with the magsafe case. i read here someone commenting that the tips are hard to remove.
but no, it was rather easy.
anyway, it was a little sandy, cleaned the tips and everything is working well.

thank God for Find My app.


p/s: not easy finding an earbud in the sand, especially after 12 midnight, so many other things are also the same white colour, shells etc. pinpointing location and using the find nearby really helps.

If that was the case, then gone case already. Lucky the tide wasn’t as high as the location i lost the earbud.

Mine I went home on 29th Jul, the buds are missing. I used Find My App and saw it is left at office.

Walao today morning I came to office, it shows it is at another location nearby an LRT station! I think gone case already someone probably took it.

Is it possible to buy new buds only? I still have the case.

definitely at least wait until after the September or October event. If the new one isn’t announced this year, then it’ll be next year (so you have one year to use)

yeah agree, wait till sept and oct event finished.
but seems more likely a new one is coming.

people waited for a new pro for years.
and last year come airpods 3, APP gets the magsafe charging case.

Don't think it's possible for Apple to bring the feature to the existing model, but you never know..

my story lagi weird i blamed it to the hungry ghost july month, i lost both of buds and not even realising. until one side came out from the washing machine, and another side located someway when i off work from home. how accurate the find my APP is... before i decide whether to go back to check or not. Weirdest i never get down from my car also how can it left at there i really dont know TT

If you really want to enjoy lossless quality, wired headphone is the way to go.

There seems to be a problem with the airPod pro 1st generation. I've taken it back for the second time for repairs. Inspection fee RM80, single replacement RM480. haizzzz....

first time is crack sound and free replace both airpod after usage 2 year.

after 9 months replacement, the right airpod connected with 100% battery but no sound at all

Do you guys use spatial audio when listening to music on iPhone?

I think the part where it tracks my head movement is weird because if you put your phone by your side or you turn your head, you feel like the sound is coming from one side/direction only.
I think that it is only good for movies and video call.

EDITED : I just realized I can use spatial audio, but still turn off head tracking. It sounds better and normal now
