Pro still makes a big difference in terms of colour, sharpness and brightness.

1) parts u get are certainly not original.

2) third parties may not have up to standard repair skills and can even cause more damages.

3) once ur phone is repair unofficially, next time ur repair may be rejected by apple even u are willing to pay to repair there.

price immediately dropped 25% to 30% at least. could be even more at close to 40%. haha.

use simple passcode is better than no lock rite?

i am using 6 digits passcode to overcome this.

a iPhone 11 Pro max 64GB is RM5,299.

that's 41.52% cheaper.

normally drops 20% to 25%++ and slowly drops until 40%++ after iphone 12 is released.

of course the latest will be the best. i am planning to get the iphone 12 pro max 512gb or 1tb also. upgrading from iphone x 256gb.
i am signning up with contract so i am ok to get the best model with largest storage size.

even machines has officially cut 10% price of the iphone 11 pro/11 pro max even before iPhone 12 is released.

for those who are buying new iphones for their family members such as elderly or even kids, actually no point to buy the latest flagship models at the full price as they are unlikely to fully utilise the full technologies that come with it. it makes more sense to buy a older models as older models after years will be old enough to be cheaper. even it is spoiled by them, it will be less heartpain.

this is the reason why i bought the refurbished iphone x 64GB for my dad although it is going to be 3 years old phone but it is still very capable given its processing power. the recent years of iphones are all overpowered if you compare to the flagship android phones. so even buying old iphones, they are still very capable for today use.

yup, i am using them simultaneously, I only change the passcode from previous 8 characters password which mixes numbers and alphabets as well as special characters. now left with 6 digits PIN.

only when wearing masks time need to enter the PIN.

tried before already. even follow the tricks online people have taught.

it did not work and i gave up after many many times of tries.

now the current temporarily solution with 6 digits PIN is what works best for me while with mask on.

I gave up already. and now no longer a too big issue to me since it is only 6 digits number. if one is using 4 digits will be even easier but of course less secure too.

yes, 4 digits have 10k combinations (same like 4D).

and if u enable 10 times maximum tries before erase iPhone.

this is the problem for bolehland to not having apple stores. if there is, anything you are dealing with apple directly.

refurbished given by apple or apple authorised service provider has 3 months warranty one.
obviously the serial number will certainly be different than your original one (obviously).

one more thing is that if you see the model number, refurbished iphone will start with 'N'.
brand new iphone will start with 'M'.

but anyway, if it is apple certified refurbished iPhone, it is as good as brand new one, dun think it is a big concern. what only matters will probably only when you try to resell it next time. however, most buyers should be ok with that.

good thing of having apple stores, they display all colour variants of the iPhones, iPads, Macs etc. for demo.
they have official service centre inside the store that anything wrong with ur apple devices, can send in there for repair. it is a much better user experience than dealing with apple authorised service provider. I have tried them both personally so I know.
