Finally received the lightning cables. Came just on time. Two lightning cables with me, one was dead, another is broken and I use tapes to cover to temporally use it.

First time using a less costly brand. Only sgd13.53 for 2 x 2m and 1 x 1m. Had been spending at least sgd20++ and above for one single cable on brands such as aukey, anker, power support, moshi etc. All could not last. Now 4 cables cost less than one cable I had spent in the past. haha.

Interestingly 2m has lower power output due to the length.

Quality looks quite ok, hope it will last.

not sure. but i dun think so, because i see always charging status of 100%.
how to know if it is or not?

however, i always charge my phones no matter on the go or at home. haha.

i see. i think this is the model of this brand that supports this.

anyway, i have been charging overnight all the time. i always love to my iphone stays at 100%, if it is auto off and when i wake up and see 99%, i feel bad too. haha.

Can feel that it charges slower than 1m. I am using the same ipad 10w charger which has an output of 2.1A maximum for this conclusion.

So I think it matches the product description that 2m has can support 1.5A thus slower. however, since the cable is longer now which makes it easier to be used while on the bed.
1m one I leave them to be used while on the go with my power bank. The 1m support 2.4A by rite if use with the 10w ipad charger it will be able to hit max 2.1A. 2.1A vs 1.5A the charging speed should have a significant different. actually i did consider to get 0.5m one which i assume it will cause less bending while in my beg and there the cable should last longer.

I should have bought this kind of cheaper but good brand instead. At least now I spent less than 75% of the price paid for other brand single cable and got 4 cables instead. Even they are spoiled, just change new one since the cost is low. Will never buy expensive lighting cable again ever. Haha. 4 cables should be able to last me for quite a while before changing again.

i think you need a 18w PD charger + usb-c to lightning cable to achieve the fast charging for iphones.
usb-c to lightning cable can achieve a maximum 3A of output normally.

there are usb-c to lightning cable with 2m in the market. whether 2m will have lower output below 3A then i am not too sure though.

indeed. even 29w charger only has 2A output.

if you can sell it off at 20% loss, you will be considered lucky, likely you need to lower down the price to more than 20% of your original bought price for it to be sell-able. Not to mention, iphone 12 will be announcing soon, so the later you sell, the lower the price you can get.

should be as early as possible. the closer to the date, likely people will just wait to see what iphone 12 is offering before deciding to buy a older model or latest model. one to two months before, you may even see no market on this at all since most will be waiting.

ipad pro like design which is my favourite = take my $$. haha.

i believe iphone 12 should have similar pricing as iphone 11. dun think it will be more expensive at least for the starting price.

older iphone price will surely be lowered when the new one it out too. However, if you notice closely, every year the percentage of the price drop for previous model will like be just like USD100 cheaper. to be frank, it may still be more worth it to get the latest model. Unless you are buying from other dealers that are selling below the official dropped price for the older models.

yup, if buy from official channel basically there is not much discount at all. pretty much one is paying regular price.

to be frank, if to calculate the total cost of ownership (monthly mobile plan cost x 24 + initial price paid for the iPhone) in bolehland to own an iPhone seriously the subsidy is not attractive at all. it will just be kind of instalment payment mode.

especially to consider the fact one can just pay rm35 per month nett without worrying extra data or call charges for prepaid easily.

Yeah. But really quite a big thicker. I am using iPhone X so can feel it quite obviously even though my phone is on case. I am using those ultra thin case though.

my question is why such a old cable still is qualified for warranty claim?

Or U treat it like a cable that is from ur iphone 11 which is less than a year to claim the warranty?
