i dun have iphone 11 pro max. I am still on my 256gb iphone x. haha. i change iphone every 3 years recently.

iphone 6 plus/se -> iphone X -> iphone 12 pro max.

actually main thing is just to keep more photos and videos.

that's the one taking up most of the space.
given the better camera of the upcoming iphones, it will take up even more space. haha.

That’s about 33% off the retail price.

Based on my logic of 20% depreciation per year for an iphone. To buyer, it is a not bad purchase.
