6B to create 350K jobs.

What open a bunch of shell.companies and make jobs out of thin air?

Why don't ask give 6B to ministry of education improve our horrid system so they can do more than black shoes? At least train our emerging generation to be more skillful and productive. (Or set up programs to retrain existing workforce)

Pretty sure ROI would be higher for the long term that way.

I can think of a lot of ministries more deserving...like the above mentioned education, human resource and economic development.

This guy nothing to do at the.sports ministry is it?

He should learn how to do business first than talk cock. You are youth and sport ministers what is your profile.
There are many capable people out there, why on earth we have this kind of ministers in cabinet.

That is what happen when fresh graduate become minister..

At least if syed saddiq got industrial experience he will not talk like this..

I tot he is even clueless on how company making profit/manpower needed bla bla bla..

After this if no working experience, max should be deputy minister only, this only really 🤣🤣

Actually to solve the solution is quite easy, move some graduate to blue collar and fill in the role, so that we are less reliant on foreign worker. For example Electrical is lacking of local worker, move some to this industry. Of course it is a hard way because u need to discuss with HR minister and also the industry feedback.

AI is not exactly new ady. We have lost the first-mover advantage.
Look around you. We can't even seem to have fully functioning street lamps and CCTVs. Let's get these basic stuff right first and move from there.

To attract top talents, we need to be attractive to them in the first place. Dangling fat pay cheques (even if we can afford it) doesn't work all the time.

AI industry can't create 350k jobs. Not to mention Malaysia doesn't have so many talents in this field.

That's why I said do retraining program for skilled trades.

Do you know how hard is it to find local skilled trades . All having to get foreigners , because there is no one skilled in the trades in the current generation. All the local.ones are old sifu about to retire.

Why 6 Billion and not 7.5 billion? the important question is not the figure you throw out, but how did you justify the figure and what is the plan/risk/value/objective/desired outcome?

Has he even work one year in normal company in life before? or just jump straight to be come youngest so called minister...

Cause the all mighty old man likes him.

But then again he's good as a minister, makes all the other ministers looks smart in comparison. Mazlee is so happy SS is there, someone to share the stage as clown of the year...
