seriously, im not too sure why though.. have u verified the two small amount in ibkr? after they sent u the amount in TW, u'll need to key in the two amount in ibkr as a verification process

actually there's explanation when u're about to set up this method.. stated that ibkr will send two small amounts transaction to TW and then subsequently request back one transaction of the total two sums

after i key in the two small sums in ibkr, the total of the two sums was sent back to ibkr on the next day

use traditional.. don't think we can use the instant one, that'll require username and password.. even if i have US bank account, wouldn't be comfortable to just give it to them

I'm new to trading and I just got my TSG account set up & funded few days ago. Just a minute ago, when I login to (IB website), settled cash is blank with a dash (-) symbol, also my available currency which I have (SGD & USD) doesn't show up as well, with dash (-) symbol. Days ago I still managed to see my available cash & currency I have. However, when I login to my IB mobile app, I can see my available cash & currencies that I own.
Any idea what's going on ? Thanks

hey guys i created a tradestation global account not long ago. i wanted to trade on IBKR client portal but the commission charge for per us stock is 0.35 USD instead of 1.5 USD. am i missing something here? i ran statement check on IBKR client portal and it shows that my account master name is TradeStation International Ltd. am i doing it right? thanks.

for deposit, u initate a deposit in ibkr as per usual, choosing the ACH option (it should already appear as ur saved deposit).. key in the amount u want to deposit.. then just wait.. took a day to see my TW account been deducted.. all these are done through ibkr only.. didn't do anything at TW side (apart from maintaining sufficient balance)

What kind of brokerage charges does Interactive brokers charge?

Has been getting enquiries from IBKR's compliance Dept for using Instarem to deposit funds. Anyone experienced same thing? Looks like need to use other ways to deposit funds.

Does the margin account on TSG work the same as margin accounts here in Malaysia whereas you need to settle in a set amount of days?

So if i open a margin account, deposit cash inside and trade within the limit, it'll auto settle it for me right? and just to confirm, the interest for margin on TSG is IBKR + 2.5% ?

Just need NYSE and NASDAQ prices. Which 1 should I choose to subscribe so that I don't trade blind.
Is this the correct way to subscribe to the price feeds ? Or is there an option buried somewhere. Thank you.

Edit: if I go to Account Management in the web then I can see the long list. Below is what I think most suited. Correct ?

NASDAQ (Network C/UTP)
Provides real-time data bid/ask (top of book) quotes for NASDAQ listed securities. Examples - MSFT, CSCO and TSLA.
USD 1.50 /Month

NYSE (Network A/CTA)
Real time market data for NYSE listed stocks. Provides top of book bid/ask/last quotes. Examples - CYS, TEL and LLY.
USD 1.50 /Month

Has anyone been charged with inactivity fees before? Have a friend using pure IBKR and told me he hasn't been charged. Said he probably didnt accumulate $120 in commissions too.

Also for transferwise there seems to be a limit of only rm30k going out from the account per transfer. Does everyone do multiple transfers?

Wow, thanks for lmk. I didn't know they charged the $2 for currency exchange. Does that mean if i deposit SGD inside and want to buy US stocks i'd have to pay $2 to convert the SGD to USD first?

One more ques, on IBKR's site it says

>Account has Net Liquidation Value >= USD 100,000 (or non-USD equivalent)

If I have $100k in total spread across multiple currency or my stock values are more than $100k, I'd be spared from the inactivity fee right?

can someone help me, being using ib for a few month no issue buying stock and hold. But yesterday i seem to be having problem trading eventho my account still have cash in it.  I have like 4k why i m only allow to trade 2k only?

I did sold some amc share yesterday. Funny, usually credit instantly. (why now need clearing)
