I think last time they used to have ACT and some other acronyms transfer options. Now there is only a bank wire for all TT.

by the way, I think I could connect ACH with TW's borderless USD bank account, but I haven't tried transferring money out yet.

Those examples are the ticker. Sometimes it may not appear when attempting to search (in TWS at least), one consistent workaround I always do is, go to your watchlist and type there directly "USD.HKD" / "USD.SGD"

no, that is after fill in account number and bank info (swift or routing number) then only they asked for correspondent bank info.

a friend of mine transferred USD via transferwise for account opening, the account was approved very fast soon after funding, but the fund was not projected into the account even after days of chasing CS.

not sure if it is now quicker on processing, leaving the account opening issue, or it is still 1-2 weeks clearance process.....

my friend got it after my reply tho.

For withdrawal to sg bank account, is it required to convert USD to sgd in ibkr before withdrawal? Or just selected withdraw USD to sg bank account?

guys.. regarding the trading fees, noticed that if u buy or sell a certain security more than once in a trading session, u'll incur the trading fees as per the time u transacted instead of get charge once on the average price?

eg. if u buy AAPL for 100 shares @ 128.00 and subsequently buy another 100 shares @ 129.00 in the same trading session.. u'll get charge individually for 128.00 and 129.00.. rather than being charge once on the average price of 200 shares

Transferwise -> USD (ACH) -> IBKR. Slow. 7 days for me

CIMB SG -> SGD -> IBKR. Fast, less than 1 hr

Is it possible to transfer USD directly to IBKR via TW without going through the ACH??
