Can i say the artsy version of John Woo the killer
I am no Fincher fan per se but this looks like an interesting premise on an already existing old-fashioned assassin/sniper story beats hahahaha
Just started to read the source material. It's kinda House of Cards story. Realistic spy craft with complex intertwining plot about government in cahoot with criminal kingpin. The assassins behaves more like spy operative in a John LeCarre novel. It has a lot of social commentary on how eff up the society and how to survived a layered conspiracy. More mind games than straight up action.
Kill Boksoon pretty awesome! I was hesitant to watch it cause thought it gonna be a lame rip-off of Kill Bill. It's more than that and really like the fresher ideas being introduced in the plotline. On top of that the restaurant fight scene quite impressive to watch. Also liked how the mother and daughter story being played out.
I bleed it out, Diggin' deeper just to throw it away!

no one watched one piece yet?
taking my time to slowly enjoy this masterpiece
IMO this is one of the best manga/anime to live action adaption of all time, definitely one of the top 3
been reading OP since 97 until now, was super skeptical when they first announce the project, as this is one of the most difficult live action adaption to pull off, but oh boy they proof me wrong
can't wait for future seasons, wonder how will they produce Chopper and Brooke
WTF Netflix???!!! Wes Anderson dropping 4 short films of Roald Dahl's famous short story. You promote only one.
Henry Sugar has a runtime of 40ish minutes. It's a good bite size without going overboard with Anderson's quirky signature. Being a Roald Dahl story you know the wholesome payoffs. Cumberbatch is the perfect Henry Sugar. Richard Aoyade even make a cameo. It's a lot of fun to watch.

Ballerina - Not to be mistaken with John Wick's spinoff that starred Ana DeArmas next year. This is a Korean revenge thriller that pretty much forgettable. It doesn't know what it wants, at times it rip-off of "You Were Never Here" but without the seriousness of it. On action department "Kill Boksoon" is much more entertaining. Another pointless Netflix movie.

Cant trust Korean by Netflix anymore at this rate hahahaha both TV and movies
Still rooting for Squid Game 2 not 2 dissapoint when it finally releases hahahaha
I say the best series outside Netflix right now is The Continental
3 90 minutes episode each and its the freaking wild ride w/o the touch of JW director and crew
So Naoki Urasawa's Pluto has dropped. To the non mange reader. Don't be fooled thinking this is an Astroboy remake. The story may take awhile to unravel, the mystery is really potent. This is pretty much the same deliberate slow paced thriller of Urasawa masterpiece Monster. Give this a try and perhaps you walk away with your mind blown.
David Fincher was doing his press junket for his latest movie. In one of the interview he was asked what recent movie he was most impressed with. He name dropped this.
The stunning opening literally puts me into cinematic orgasm. You thought you have seen all the onesies that put on the screen for the last 15 years or so. All I can say you haven't seen shit yet until now. The sheer scope of the staging and chaos on screen simply breaks your mind. On top of that there's enough adequate storytelling to keep you glued to the screen. Great watch.
