It works fine this morning on phone and ATV3 so maybe they had enough reports to get it fixed. rclxms.gif

Anyway now that most shows are almost done what's the new upcoming show to watch?

Edit - never mind, it's not working on ATV4k despite not changing any settings. What an annoyance but at least it works on other devices.

dont think they have much going on now. that is why they are focusing on their original series for now. maybe after 6 months or so then you'll see more series added into it i guess. need more hbo series added

Managed to watch Servant this evening straight through then rented Joker but it won't play right on the ATV4k. Had to bring the ATV3 to use instead and it plays fine. Such a weird issue. It's intermittent off/on within an hour or two. TM called also late evening and said they did testing on my line/port and no issues on their end but said if I still have issues to clear cache, restart browser etc which means they don't really understand the issue. Sorry for kinda OT in this thread.

I think it's still related discussion since it's about ATV+ streaming. I don't actually have an Apple TV (Doesn't seem worth it just yet), so can't double check for you from my end.

I think it might be the under water cable issue. Since they've done testing but can't identify the problem. The answer they gave is really the stock standard type sweat.gif I'll get post what their reply to me is once they've figured out what the problem is. Chances are, it's gonna be the same as yours.

Not sure if it's related, but have you enabled IPV6 on your router? Or are you on a VPN connection?

It only starts around 6-7pm. Can watch few episodes of the Knick in a row (Apple/iTunes TV shows purchased) then once that time kicks in it will start to get funky then eventually buffering/never play. So rest of evening switch to watching other things not on iTunes.

I do use a VPN (g-flix) for Hulu, Prime, Disney+ and it is set on each device individually. I can switch it to default, reboot router and iTunes still won't work at that specific time.

If you previously didn’t have any issues, don’t think you need to bother. I just got my connection back - some fibre cable broke so had zero internet. Tried streaming this morning (after they fixed the fibre ) and I could stream without a problem. Literally just tried - again, can’t.

I don’t know how else to sort this out. They don’t seem to know what the problem is either.

I’m gonna try again tomorrow. If it’s still the same (morning fine, evening/night problem), I’m gonna open another report. If they still won’t rectify it, I think an email to mcmc is in order

Well on the Apple Support forums/community there are a few people having issues as well. Not in Malaysia only. It is intermittent and at certain times, which sounds familiar. Right now mine will go out most of the evening, on all devices. Most of the day the ATV4k will not play any movies/TV but the ATV3 next to it will play it fine. Of course until a certain time in the evening. It's baffling and hugely annoying. Am unable to watch any ATV+ series to catch up in the evenings. I just want it to work like it should. Good luck on your end too.

Oh gosh. I’m having the same issue as well. For the past few days i can’t seem to stream movies or shows from itunes and appletv+ shows via ANY of my apple devices (Apple TV 4K, iPad, iPhone and my Mac). Trailers doesnt stream too. And i’m using unifi as well. But when i change to my Data, it works just fine.

I’ve tried factory resetting my apple TV but still the same issue.
However streaming netflix and amazon prime works flawlessly.

Should I lodge a complaint to Unifi too? At least for them to know its not an isolated issue.

Maybe worth it to report to Unifi but it is probably on Apple's end or our connection from Asia/VPN to their servers in the US/wherever. Today so far it has been fine all day until 8pm watched all of a series on iTunes but I also had to sub to another Smart DNS service to get it to work on my 4ktv and PC. The other devices work on the old DNS or none.

It does indeed sound familiar. Any of the reports mentioning it working on a different connection but not on a common one? Coz our problem seems to stem from unifi.

I literally just tried. No problem playing. Gonna wait till later and see if it plays. I’m convinced it’s an issue on Unifi’s side since switching to data solves it.

Anyone having problems now? I can't play any purchased movies or Apple TV+ intermittently on Unifi. All other apps (Speed test, YouTube) are normal.

No more interesting shows. Atv+ is like Disney+ had big releases now mostly dead, in terms of new content. D+ at least have a big catalogue of shows n movies - marvel n disney etc.
