for now, there is no way to know since our telco don't support this yet..

by right we should be able to just add data plan and scan the QR code, but need to wait for telco side to enable this. if you try to do it now, i think the process will fail.

if you search back Series 3 or Series 4, got one lowyat member tried to add Maxis eSim to his apple watch and failed. so yea, I dont think anyone will have a definite answer until someone try again this round.

just pre-ordered from DiGi with the RM250 code, total paid RM2099. there is option for instalment plan of 12/24 months if you guys are wondering.

After tekan "Preorder Now", it will ask you to input your Phone number, then I think depending on your DiGi plan, it'll show you different page? For me, it gives me the option for outright purchase, prolly because I already got contract with them.

For now looks like it, and also if you are part of DiGi Postpaid Family plan (supp line).

try rebooting both phone and watch, Off both device -> on phone, wait until boot up and unlock -> on watch, wait until boot up, and unlock -> check for update

glad it works for you, I was facing this yesterday haha, but I had the developer profile, so I removed it and rebooted the watch, but still doesn't work, so end up rebooting both device then can already.

for HSBC CC, statement will show the full amount, then at the end of statement date, will also show 1/12 instalment for xxxx, if you calculate the statement balance, it doesn't include the full amount. Not sure if public bank is the same case?

tldr: if your watch is from ECG support country, then this method will work. Watch from ECG supported country have the ECG app, just that they are unable to get past the setup screen because of region error. For watch from non-ecg country, it won't work because there's no ECG app on your watch at all, dont bother trying.
