Has anyone replaced their AW5 battery?

I contacted SNS Ipoh, they said cannot change battery but have to buy the replacement watch which cost Rm1500.

I think you might as well buy a Series 8 now on discount.

My 3-year-old Series 5 (cellular) battery is so shitty now after updating to WatchOS 10. I mean it wasn’t great before but now it’s absolutely a nightmare. I was eyeing an Ultra when a sales staff told me o could trade in my Series 5 for… RM335! Hahaha…. I was like thanks but no thanks laugh.gif

If your battery overall health is below 80%, then you can get
Replacement watch under the battery replacement for around RM680

Yes you can get it replaced at any Apple authorised Service provider. However do check on the pricing as I understand that there had just been an adjustment due to our weak ringgit.

My sister had her Apple Watch 5 replaced under the battery replacement program. She did it at It World in PJ

My AW5 now has the home button stucked, hence I can’t access Apple Pay, hahaha…

Have given up and bought a Watch Ultra (1st gen) at 2.6k+ during 11/11 sale…

My Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS) 44 mm battery drains extremely fast now and charge extremely slow. Checked Apple Website.

"Your estimated cost is RM449.
We'll check your service coverage to determine the final service fee.".

Don't know if it's worth to replace the battery or I might as well sell it off and buy a new Apple Watch Series 10 this year.

Hi everyone, would like to know if anyone facing the same issue.
My S5 watch has gone boot looping suddenly. I am unsure what happen as I left it to charge then return to see it boot looping non stop. I have tried to press and hold both items to hard boot in hope to do a factory reset but nothing is working.

I have left my phone off the charging dock and its till boot looping.

Any suggestions ?

Hi, wonder if anyone has changed their AW S5 with ori / 3rd party battery before? How's your review? Is it worth it as the watch already lost software updates and support...

Update : Have traded in my S5 for S10 only for RM150 for the watch (Machine) and now with the discounted prices took to plunge. Took jetblack, lots of improvements and much lighter.
