Getting Started Junior Member 241 posts Joined: Jun 2007	I’m currently using the Apple Watch 5 which I had bought in Australia on the 21 Sep. Previously using an Apple Watch 3. Battery life with the always on display remains similar to my old Apple Watch 3. However if you turn off the always on display, battery life is just great. And make sure before your request that your Apple Watch S5/S4 is on WatchOS 6.2 or 6.2.1. Everything is done about 15 minutes and you will get ECG working. So this ecg feature can be activated in countries without ECG like Malaysia, Japan, Australia etc. In addition my Apple Watch 5 was bought from Australia so no ECG function as it is not supported in Australia. Will the ECG function only work in WatchOS 6.2? Will it be deactivated once I update later?
