Hi Apple fans,

need your help here.

I plan to purchase apple watch with esim (Cell + GPS). But i plan to use it on feature phone/ android phone.

What if i activated the watch with an iphone (for same number/numbershare or independent nomber), after that i remove the sim card from iphone and put into other phone (like feature phone/phone for elderly (like nokia 3310) or samsung phone).

The apple watch still can work? Can continue use the same number (like Digi Share?), or other independent phone number?

Plan to grab one for parents if apple watch can work for call/ fall detection/heart pulse alert only. Need not other function.

Can apple watch work?

Any one have two phone (Iphone+Android/feature phone) to try out?

Thanks a lot

Been using it without any problem so far. The feature is remain even after update iOS and watch OS. Not sure how long will it last. Read somewhere that apple can easily patch it up in the future update if they want.

I bought from different seller. But I believe the procedure is the same. Been using since 10/4 up until today. As for the reading i am not sure on the accuracy. But it worked as it should

Simple answer no. Think it as this way apple watch is a complimentary device not a standalone device.

Since you using android look at other option such as garmin heart rate monitor...

Got my ECG activated through this guy from Shopee ECG Activation

If you are interested, I'd recommend the own ID creation method - meaning you give the seller a dummy Apple ID that you create for him to activate. Basically just need around 20mins to sign in and sign out from your phone and its done. Very simple tongue.gif

thanks for sharing the reliable seller and the better method to activate it. Hate to do it the wrong way and then resetting it.

how about numbershare? can we setting to receive call/sms to iphone only even activate esim numbershare on apple watch?

e.g. i activate esim on apple watch with my iphone with numbershare, but i just want all my call /sms directly push to my iphone only. because that apple watch will hand over to other person. for this method, can i monitor the health data from apple watch on my iphone?
