Actually how do you fit the whitestone TG on the Crashguard?

I just installed it and the TG popped out thats 2 TG gone. Now using it naked without TG.

Just install as per normal, the rim will sit on the TG. I think you probably tried to fit the rim around the TG 😅

Here’s how it looks like. I’ve been changing colors on the rims and case never popped out before.

Does the rim fit snug? When I tried installing the rim, it doesn't sit well on the TG, edges popping out a little

I never tried without the TG before, but it doesn't look like its sitting like without the watch inside. I guess it isn't a good fit, but its good enough for me lah.

Watch OS 6.2 released today.

ECG available for New Zealand, Turkey and Chile. When lar we will get this feature.....

Updated mine to 6.2, ECG confirm still works. SG unit.

Went on Reddit to get inspiration on watch faces - ended up getting poisoned with the SS20 collection from Nike. Pulled the trigger and here it is. Looks good in person.

Just update my S4 to WatchOS 6.2 ,finally MY unit can enable ECG and irregular rhythm successful and use it.

I doubt his unit is local MY unit.

I went to the Heart settings to setup and it stated ECG is not available in Malaysia yet.

Bugs in iOS13.4 and WatchOS6.2 , If your Apple ID cannot be activated directly, try to bring your unit to supported countries activate or borrow your friend ’s activated ID to login your iphone.
The nearest country is Singapore.

In the following part of this post, I would show how this bug happened:

Since iOS 13.4 and WatchOS 6.2, to test the ECG region restriction feature, Apple added a “switch” inside iOS, if the switch is on, then the system would bypass region checking.

The code is in HealthKit, there’s two classes: HKMPNDeviceRegionFeatureSupportedStateProvider and HKNonMPNDeviceRegionFeatureSupportedStateProvider.

If the system calls functions in HKMPNDeviceRegionFeatureSupportedStateProvider class, then it would check device region as usual. However, if it calls functions in HKNonMPNDeviceRegionFeatureSupportedStateProvider, it would ignore region checking!

The question is, how the iOS / WatchOS decide which class / function it should call? I dissembled the functions:



As you can see, if ecg_app_install_ignores_mpn is enabled, then it would call HKNonMPNDeviceRegionFeatureSupportedStateProvider and ignore region checking.

Now, we only need to find where is ecg_app_install_ignores_mpn, it’s in /System/Library/FeatureFlags/Domain/HeartRhythm.plist:



In line 8, the value is true! However, on iOS 13.4 beta 1 it was false! Because Apple accidentally set this value to true on beta 2 to GM version, we can by pass ECG region checking! Good job, Apple!

please don’t ask me whether xxx version can use this trick to enable ECG feature or not! Because this is a BUG, Apple will fix this in the future. But, if you don’t upgrade iOS / WatchOS, you can enable ECG feature as long as you want!

So u just updated ur Apple Watch to WatchOS 6.2 then can activate ECG without additional steps? Provided ur iphone is iOS 13.4?

Yes, as long as your iPhone is updated to iOS13.4, your watch can be updated to WatchOS6.2
in the meantime,if your Apple ID has been activated in a supported country before, you can activate it immediately.
if not just bring your watch to supported countries activate or the nearest country is Singapore or go JB border roaming SG telco to activate,should work.
or borrow your friend ’s activated Apple ID to login and go to setting >iCloud just sync health data to your iPhone.
