So in the span of half an hour, I matched with 1 pretty looking china girl. She claimed to just moved to our country few days ago due to work requirements of her Co. So I asked, what's her most look forward thing to do here. She said she look forward to chit chat with someone in person. So I asked when, she said now (that's fast).

So I drove to the area she mentioned, it's not too remote and moderately crowded. As safety measure i tried to lead on my terms, in phone call I said I'm gonna bring her to eat dessert, but she insist on following her terms of going to bar.

When finally met, yup she's pretty but somehow I'm not attracted to her beauty. The direction she walked is getting less and less people around, i was thinking if she kept going then I'm out. Luckily she stopped at the last shop which is a bar, there's enough people there to make me feel safe. Along the way she asked what's my career, that's the first thing she asked. Also, she's playing her phone with her strategically holding the phone facing the other way, i tried my best to peek but it's just impossible, i wonder who she talking to?

So we sat down and served by someone, menu presented, she said wanna drink wine, and the wine menu starts from 200, then 300, 500, 900, 1k plus. The another menu is more affordable consist of foods and cocktails. I said we should try cocktail, she said no, insisted on the wine.

Due to a man's pride, i showed the waiter the menu and pointed at the cheapest option of 200 while not showing her which one i choose to not appear cheap. But the waiter responded the first 2 option already sold out, the next one will be 500 already.

So i try to hint and said i don't have enough cash, then she said that I can use card, checkmate then. I have the card, but i said i didn't bring it as well, it's just not worth it at this point. Then she said the date is over already and said her friend will pick her up, and sort of said we may meet again for meal perhaps next time, which i doubt and completely fine that we'll not meet again, i already labelled her as gold digger, unmatched in app, then uninstall, the end.

Waste my petrol, time, and 2 sprays of good cologne.

I have a similar experience like you. This happen in Balakong, C180. She matched with me in TanTan and claimed that she stayed in Malaysia for few months, working in a lingerie shop with her aunt because her aunt married a Malaysian man.

So I chatted with her for few days and she offered me to have a drink somewhere close to her house (not sure whether that is true or not), turns out she has chosen C180.

When I met her in C180, she suggested to walk around the street and she guided me to the bar that she had partnered - 'W@M Wine @ More'.

So I asked for the menu and the waiter gave two sets of menu, one is a normal priced one and the other is wine menu, in blue colour. The wine ranges around RM180 to RM2000. Not sure whether the wine is over-priced or not since I rarely drink wine.

When the girl sees the menu, she asked the waiter for recommendations, not too bitter ones. Then the waiter recommends a RM1000ish wine. The girl chooses that.

When I saw her choice, I'm like why should I pay for so much for a wine?! Then I told her that I only brings RM200+ cash for that day. Then she showed a very pissed face. Then after some discussion, we chose RM572 wine.

Then the waiter brought the wine in and asked for payment. She did not have any intention of paying although she said that she will pay half of the price when she was ordering the wine.

She asked the waiter whether can pay through Alipay and the waiter say system down, only accept cash or bank in. So I pay RM150 in advance and we had our conversations. She just doesn't seem interested and she keep texting her phone and tactically angled for me to avoid looking. So after a while of conversation, she pushed me for the full payment as she said that it was very awkward that did not pay in full and sitting down and drinking the wine.

After that, i went to the CIMB ATM to withdraw some money out. (This is where I regret, I should have run at the time, but my pride and ego doesn't allow that *slap to the face*).

After withdrawing money, I went back and pay at the counter. We had a little conversation and we left after we finished the wine. She did not have any intention to hold any conversations longer and asked for good-bye.

After I went back home, still holding a little glimpse a hope, I texted her, asking for repayment back from her, but just as I expected, no replies. She might have unmatched/blocked me on TanTan and WeChat too. Any one here knows how to check it?

Wow seems this case is really rampant. Luckily i took some pre-caution and found your post beforehand.

In my case it was Tantan as well and later on we switch to WC to chat further. Like at the time we got match str8 that girl str8 asked me to go out with her within just a few words of initial intros to go chat at bar like most of you guys got out there. Honestly everything is already fishy at that point and i do reject on that day itself because i got something to do at night but she hastily asked "Then can you make it to the date after your business?"

So the next day I asked my friends about this and because none of them experienced this but they know about this post so here I am reading the similar setup that you guys experienced. So afterwards i rejected her, block everything and uninstall Tantan too.

The interesting part comes after this. Knowing that she got rejected on the spot, I was surprised that she used those tactics that will try to hurt your man ego. Like after i rejected here she said "Then, what I am going to do for the rest of the night? I cancelled all of my plans because of the date.". All these acts and the remaining stuffs she wrote are all trying to make me feel guilty as a man and i am beyond than just getting annoyed already.

So ya there's quite an obvious pattern in all of these, so guys please test water first before like going out directly.

Happened to me today. Matched with a girl in China Tantan a month ago. After few chats, asked for my whatsapp number and right after that asked to meet. I was a bit suspicious already but i told her i was not in KL, maybe will find her after i come back.

Anyway, i asked her where to meet. She said C180 and the first thing that comes to my mind is the earlier story from this thread.

Then i told her i definitely can't make it because of the time and told her we can meet after she is back from China. She got pissed off and scolded me for playing with her by not telling her i'm back in KL. (literally speechless, like are you my mom or what?)

So with all the signs, i just told her ' You are being too obvious with your scheme, don't you think you are a bit too rush?'

At the end, what i got was a scolding from her, whatsapp blocked by her and a bit of fun.
