Hi Sifus

I need a recommendation for a Mp3 player, I mostly listen to Hard Rock and Heavy Metal(Think Metallica). My budget is below Rm200, and it need to have good battery life. <_<

PS, I will be using it most of the time to play a long with my Drums

is mkv media player (e.g. ac ryan & the rest) a good medium for music playback (flac/mp3), any impact on SQ?

better go for Teclast X19HD, a very powerful budget player with low/high gain, bass boost, eq, SRS, able to drive (some) demanding headphones

Clip+ is flat and neutral, x19HD is definitely not neutral but fun.

The reason I wanna get another player besides C30 is because the firmware on C30 is kinda..errmmm..terrible..but it sounds good though.

Wanna get something with a much more user friendly UI and sounds just as good:)

only some getting used to, problems wise still not found any, except your song tagging which might get weird, which is your fault and not the player, lol

Yea..I have a habit of not tagging my songs.
That's why song management software like iTunes is a big no no for me.
I'm the old school manage by folder type guy

Clip Plus has a very favorable reviews and the UI is quite OK, for me at least

x19hd has a "browse" ability, good for ppl likes foldering, they also will separate the tracks into category like artist, album etc
