You use it for almost a whole month before the box have issues and you claim they sell defective unit.
Pretty sure they tested it first before sending it out to you and you actually received it in working condition but you still claim they sell defective goods...

They even willing to send you adapter and only asked you to bear postage fee, you end up buying new adapter anyway which might actually cost you more...

Seriously cannot brain this, I would love to see the conversation you have with the seller, if he reply rudely or curse you out then I can understand the rant.

Not defending anyone, I myself only buy from local sellers if I have the option, it's just that this thread sounds unfair to the seller.

A lot of contradiction to what you replied to others.

Yes, it's wear and tear item, it's not even proprietary, it's like when your phone charger doesn't work anymore, you don't go and claim warranty for that, you buy a new charger that is available everywhere.

The box itself is like below RM110, I bet you can easily buy 20 unit of it if you want, then a RM10-20 adapter definitely won't be a problem.
I would understand if the adapter is like over RM100 in itself then it's worth making a fuss opting for a warranty claim.

You refused the seller solution, I'm pretty sure they have their own SOP that they need to follow when dealing with situation like yours.
You refused to share the way he treated you, for all we know you're the one being rude to him.
At this rate, we won't even know what's the truth.

if ur demanding so high quality product , non of the TVbox in the market can confirm to work for more than1yr or 1month, they can give u warranty bcoz they charge u at a very high price ... buy at ur own risk ... somemore this is only an adapter faulty and u cant accept it ?

Dude if u going to buy things from China u should better know that warranty is almost none existence.

If it were to broke down within Shopee guarantee period u may still have chance to ask for refund (full refund if u lucky).
Lazada better atleast 2 weeks.

No u should not suck it up. If u want to fight for your rights please lodge a report to KPDNHEP and see how it goes.

The problem here is actually CHINA seller because the shipping fee itself already costs quite high.
If u bought from local seller they might replace the adapter for u.


But then again iinm most manufacturer might not give warranty for accessories even Samsung only warranty their phone charges for 6 months isnt it? Correct me if im wrong.


I saw earlier some commotion about mentioning of irregular power supply and possibly lightning strike but i wont comment about that..ima only comment about the seller/product.

No commotion, the irregular supply or lighting strike is totally non existent. All my electronics no issue except this. What triggers me is that linglang immediately recommend me buy new adapter and current adapter not part of warranty. Barely 1 month use, adapter already broken and he keep giving excuses and ask me buy new one. What do u feel if you are end user? That's why this thread is here in first place.

As i mentioned, the problem its CHINA seller where courier fees is high so even if its the tvbox that is faulty they probably will not even provide warranty for u let alone an adapter.

U will have better luck with local seller, or thru Lazada.
