Transformer

are u sure is a transformer?? y it need a transformer??

of course it needs transformer. everything needs to switch from 220V AC to DC with smaller V right?

that is a toroidal transformer. performs cleaner, usually used for high-end audio equipments. can check at wikipedia.

yaya, i noe... but the transformer look diff and look huge...

we malaysia is using 240V

correct. even when i open my china amp, got 2 of that kind toroidal transformer. hell a good speaker must use that too!

anyway, i wonder whether got difference 220V, 230V, and 240V.
most i see item says till 220V but when plugged to 240V socket, also can tolerate another 20V. i personally havent plug my multitester to the wall plug yet...

Hey guys..looking for a set of Simple and Nice and Reasonable price of Home Theater maybe just a 2.1 system for small living room of Condo...size for condo around 1k sf.

It won't be that good, for a small room to have a 5.1 system, but i doubt your living room is not that small, maybe you can get s550, or s730 for 2.1.

the whole condo only 900 + sf. so living room will be 450+ sf. Long size.
What's the brand of s550 or s730? multimedia set? what's the price? powerful enough?

powerful enough, u can see the S550 live video on youtube.
even this already can "attract" your neighbor to complain..

assuming 450sqf area, about 5m x 8m or 4mx10m. either one, S550 is an ideal choice.

Haha, gd thing not cheap, cheap thing not gd is all i can say. No offence boss. NGBH is the lyn seller from Low Price Shop. They hv branches in SS2 and Subang Jaya SS15. Low Yat is still the best place for audition, they got almost every speakers there. may be you can audit both Logitech Z5500D and Edifier S550.
