Someone is offering to mod TX6 out there to work with this Lemlive/Movie app for a fee few months back.
This person is an insider working for Long TV with access to their MAC ID whitelist database.

Earlier it worked with TX6 boxes because both the Long TV box and TX6 boxes because they had the same Allwinner H6 chipsets inside them but the Long TV box were restricted only with a small 1GB size RAM. The TX6 boxes with 2GB/4GB variants worked much better then stock Long TV boxes.
They shared similar MAC IDs but can still be differentiated because of batches.

Until recently they figured a way to block TX6 boxes by identifying the batch of MAC ID blocks only assigned to Long TV boxes and if needed whitelist other boxes manually into their system.

When you have an insider in your company doing side business inputting MAC IDs manually into their database, you know it's not going to last long. Maybe this company is about to go bankrupt or out of business.

The other larger networks such as EVPad are branching out into subscription based services IPTV named Happy TV to reach a larger audience by allowing EVPad type service to be installed on OEM android tv boxes.

Sorry but I have to correct u there.. longtv is not using allwinner H6.. instead they are using HiSilicon chip, CPU produced by company under Huawei.. longtv dna is very similar to himedia box, and surprisingly old white hypptv box.. the MAC also not the same.. the first 3 octets MAC for Longtv is showing manufacturer CHENZHOU GOSPELL DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY CO.,LTD. Each longtv box MAC address should have similar first 3 octets to indicate from same manufacturer, but unfortunately not the same for TX6.

Through observation, it was noticed that many of their reseller shops that were selling Long TV "Louie" boxes were also selling Eplay 3R boxes which were clone variants of EVPad 3S boxes (both claimed to be MCMC approved).

Could the Lemon apps were initially targeted to be pushed to both these 2 boxes brands but only to later find out that granting access to Eplay 3R opened up backdoors for other Allwinner H6 boxes out there to gain access to them with similar MAC IDs ?

T6X was among the most popular OEM Allwinner H6 boxes at the time taking advantage of this loophole. The other H6 chipset boxes namely the EVpads, iBoite and even SVI Cloud boxes never bothered because they have superior exclusive applications to go with them.

tx6 was never intended for lemlive at all.. as from the original developer, lemlive is actually only for longtv.. http://lemmovie.com/

actually not only tx6 can run lemlive after modification.. tx3 and even beelink gt1 mini also can..

but for me, lemlive is the last choice for iptv, as sometimes their channels not so stable.. well, pirate iptv can never compete with legal iptv

Btw, tq for mentioning Tivimate app. I almost forgotten there are iptv apps to play local channels other than kodi.

Strangely enough, the local channels (eg TV3) loads flawlessly on Tivimate, but failed to load on some other iptv apps eg OTT Navigator (most local channels can't seem to load at all). There must be a setting I missed out.

As for Unifi TV app, on phone, can't seem to select the streaming quality, it's fixed at Auto. However, on my TX6 box, the quality can be manually selected.

Ok, noob to android boxes, am considering the tx6 or tx3, from what I've read, it seems the tx3 is better. Question, can you connect a external drive like a WD Passport to either of them to play files? Also, do they need a bluetooth adapter to connect a wireless mouse to?

guys my tx6 keep spamming all this stupid website and lazada apps, how do i stop this, already tried installing virus and ad blocker but seem to not doing anything...always pop up this spam even when i watch netflix and youtube, anyone experience the same thing like me?

Hi, can tell which version you are using ? for mine, i go and uninstall the original version that came with the box, after that install one using aptoide, now everytime i reboot / shutdown the tvbox, the app cannot load, and i need to reinstall it. it'll work until the next the box is reboot.

Any sifu encounter sound prob when fastforward or backword then sound 'piak or pak' or 'dup' only happen on youtube. Everytime forward or backward also kena.
Already re-sit hdmi cable. Previous tvbox no prob like that so confirm not hdmi prob. Pls help me pls

Resetting or removing any app won't help here since the source of advertisement is coming from a system app which is integral part of your tv box.

No antivirus or ad blocker is going to block these ads because the system app bypasses them with a proxy which connects back to a China ad server.

My BIGGEST suspect is the Alice UX launcher itself which is the source of this ads which is allowing the backdoor to happen. Unless you know how to replace your tv box's launcher, nothing can be done.

Do you like watching videos without buffering. Then swicth to <a href="https://theapkpoint.com/booty-calls-mod-apk/">netflix mod apk latest version</a>. There you can watch all your favorite dramas, TV shows and movies online.

Just bought brand new TX6 but yet to setup on TV. Question is :

- those have install unifi@playtv. Any problem encountered so far?
- As they come in bundle, if i uninstall Kodi & Netflix, any effect on TX6?
- it's spec looks promising play games. Anyone try before? Like PuBg, Mobile Legends etc.
- Does Applock works on TX6?

i dunno about the rst, but i would advice against uninstalling netflix, i uninstall the netflix that came with the box, after that i'm unable to install netflix using playstore.

I tried using the netflix version using apptoide or direct download the apk from netflix, it can only display in Standard Definition and if i turn off the tv box and restarts it, the netflix app cannot be use anymore, need to uninstall and reinstall. still haven't found solution for it yet.

Ok. I'm not a fan of Netflix but since you say so, i think i let it be.

And.....for those new to Android TV box like me, my findings is :

TX6 is ROOTED. PlayTV@unifi DOES NOT WORKED.

Need to unroot it, then it can be used. Tested and proven
