How do you take a screenshot on galaxy note 10+ ..haha

Currently, I am using Bixby by shouting "Take a screenshot" at the phone.

Is there any other way?

Just to update on standby time, SOT and signal.

7 hours sleep, the batt dropped from 97% to 93%.  (4g, wifi, bluetooth on)

Btw for the past 2 days, my SOT exceeds 8 hours - which is very rare for me and my usage.

For signal, this sd note10+ is definitely better than exynos. Finally i can get 3 bars 2.4g wifi signal in my reading room upstairs (whereas exynos note 10+ or my previous s10+ automatically use 4g when i'm in that room).
Can use, but no points or rewards.
Nope. I only purchased pixel phones from techbug
*
Hmm... seems like the SD version not only trumps the Exynos version on the battery department and overall fluidity but also having better network modems. Looks like many here would have sleepless nights thinking of changing their Note 10 to the SD version.

For me, SD trump Exynos is a well known fact for long time already. If given choice, for sure I will go for SD version. I already accepted the shortcoming thats why I go for it. So, to make me sleepless is to buy a RM 4K phone that without warranty.  smile.gif
*
There is warranty. But AP seller warranty. Anyway, if you have bought it already, then don't need to compare. It's not that you are going to use the phone for the rest of your life right? biggrin.gif

When is your turn, Bro? ✌
*
Already bertaubat bro... tongue.gif But then again I'm eyeing the Note 10. Now can get slightly below Rm3k for a brand new unit. I like the size. biggrin.gif

Bertuabat still can indulge causing a relapse than go back for counselling again, repeat 😂🤣

Note 10 size seems favourable to quite a number of people whom I have spoken to. Below RM3k is a good deal. I'm hoping to get the Note 10+ base model for RM3k come 11.11 sale 🤞🤞
*
Ermmm... would that be asking abit too much? tongue.gif RRP is Rm4199 leh.... laugh.gif

Prefer official warranty  smile.gif Yupe, normally will pass on my "legacy" to others after 2 to 3 years, thats why 3 years warranty just nice.  biggrin.gif
True also, thats why im looking to invest on the wireless charger to use at office just in case I will go back late.

Now, i still have 51% battery left since unplugged at 5.30am, and 1 hour spent on Mobile Legends. So, I'm not worry much.
*
Oh... You bought yours from Sen Heng and thus the 3 years warranty.

Don't bother with the wireless charger. I have the original Samsung one and I use for my phone desk stand only. Wireless charging is sellllooooowwww. Not to mention if you have a call coming in you would have to pickup your phone and that is like unplugging the phone and then after conversation ended you plug in in again.

will that do any harm to the phone? i just want to understand your concern here icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Technically today's lithium ion batteries have no charge memory, so unplugging your phone before fully charging it does not affect battery longevity. But after going through many charging cycles, battery will deteriorate and their charge holding capacity will be reduced.

So unplugging your phone now and then and putting it on charge will prolong your charging times (wireless fast charging takes even longer to charge) and would it count as going through more charge cycles like this? This will be debatable.

But then again, how long do you expect to use your phones. Many of use change phones so frequently that one phone will only last 6 months before being replaced with a newer model. tongue.gif

You think so??? 😅

It doesn't hurt to be wishful but given the circumstances, my expected pricing should be lower than RM3.6k since that is the price I would have gotten if purchased during the road show, not to mention the freebies.
*
Yeah man... phone just launched not long ago only. Don't lar go break owners hearts here.... tongue.gif

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 19 2019, 03:44 PM)
How slow ? Mine I find the charging speed is acceptable - about 2 hours to full charge from 5% for my note9. It is only about 15mins slower vs direct using the cable
Yet to test out with note10 plus
*
I find wireless charging using my Samsung original wireless fast charger vs normal fast charging using the original fast charge adapter to be much slower around 30% slower.

Don't dare to say about the latest 45w wireless chargers though because I don't have one.

Ya, consider wireless charger because its looks cool ... lol .... but better to take ur advise, better to get the wired charger, u just saved me $$$$$$.
Now waiting to see the price different between 25W vs 45W, if not much then 45W, if big different then go for 25W.

Should forger abt the wireless charger already.

icon_rolleyes.gif

Can you the original charger that came out of the box what? Why need to buy?

yup the optimization is top notch is want to compare with Samsung own Exynos... its sucks... if only we can change the CSC of snapdragon device to XME. Last time its easy to do.
*
No bro... nowadays I cannot be bothered about all these anymore. IMO the Exynos Note 10 could easily last a day's usage then I'm already a happy user. Don't need to be too bothered with the figures. biggrin.gif

Sometime forgot to bring to office or bring home. So, safer n easier if got spare at office.

You could consider a powerbank instead. More portable.

QUOTE(EatFriesEggs @ Sep 19 2019, 04:16 PM)
grr.... i need either a good powerbank or good charger for my office now... is the 10,000mah samsung's free PB good enough?

Ugreen hadn't release anything that can charge Note10+ at 25W...

And my computer is all USB 3.0 only... also can't charge...
*
Samsung's 10k mah PB with Fast charging? Pretty good. Can charge my S10+ for two rounds before needs recharge.

typical how long would you guys hold on samsung phone? ideally how many years would it last

i know iPhones users tend to use it at least 3 years.
*
Good question. A close friend is still using her Note 8 and I can say its still running strong. I ask her why she didn't change to the latest Note 10 and got a pretty straightforward reply... Why do I need to change when almost every feature are similar to the Note 8 and most important is the Note 8 is still running fine. So it really boils downs to your priorities.

Or many others would have second thoughts about buying an Exynos powered Samsung flagship moving forward smile.gif
That said I’m still not adverse to trying our local Note 10+ some day smile.gif
I’ve been buying Samsung phones just to try lately, all used for less than a couple of months. The longest I guess would be my Note 3 previously, which lasted close to two years before some overheating issues.
*
That is why I don't bother at all but rather stick back to ol' "reliable + boringly predictable". Sit back, relax and enjoy the show. We have more important things in life to worry about than a phone. tongue.gif

I watched "mrwhoistheboss" youtube on old note 9 battery with new note 10+ battery

My verdict is note 10+ only small win haha dang it

6 hr 41 min vs 7 hr 2 min with S10+ 7 hr 9 min doh.gif

I hope either s11+ or note 11+ will crack 8 hrs SOT so that i got great excuse 2 ditch the note 9 hahahaha
*
They will simply just put it a larger capacity battery, make the phone bulkier and thicker. Just like Apple did to the Iphone XI Pro max. tongue.gif

Seems like everyone is getting their fast charging right. No wonder Oneplus is coming up with even faster charging on the upcoming OP7T Pro.

singapore set is Exynos or SD, is it dual sim ?
*
Exynos dual sim. Same set like MY.

QUOTE(workhard1010 @ Sep 22 2019, 04:54 PM)
a must to get SD? this thread make exynos look really bad.
*
Not really. People tend to long for something which is not easily available. Battery on both Note 10 and Note 10+ on Exynos could easily last you a day'a usage which is already adequate. Yes the SD version might have a bit battery life and a bit better chipset performance but is it so life changing that you need to change to SD version.

Same as if you compare the battery life of the SD version of the Note 10+ against the Oneplus 7 Pro, the Note. 10+ will get blown away. So are you getting an OP7 Pro?

Cuz its seal set..once open, the price drop😂😂

If you have to ask in this thread, then it's obvious what answer you will get. Try the IPhone forums and see. tongue.gif

I am using the best of both worlds. In the form innovation and upgrades, I would put my vote on the Note 10/Note 10+.
