i was wondering..i bought the phone during the preorder period. so, do i need to register for the ewarranty or is it automatically updated during the 5 minutes surfing the internet?

Voila...congratzzz on v2!!

My N10+ manage to get SOT 6 hrs 39 mins with 26 hours of usage...full data, Wifi, email/calendar sync, AOD touch to on, FHD+ screen, adaptive brightness etc...

I also pre-order and collected from Samsung outlet. They helped me connect wifi to access internet then go to check update section to register the phone, I did ask them was it for register warranty and they say yes.

As i see he just tap check for update
Then pop up show Registering device

I think the retailer will register for you upon releasing the item. Cause I get from maxis zerolution, they issue the receipt on August 20th but put date release is on 23rd August. When I went to maxis centre to collect my phone, I did ask maxis staff that I don’t have to do anything, they will register my phone warranty which is 2 years warranty and 1 year free on time screen replacement.

Even in the roadshow, they helped to register the device 2 years on the apot

Just give the sellers some time to settle down and they will register your warranty. Every time when a PO or roadshow we see the same question being asked and answered, I have been using samsung phones for many years and I never bother about the warranty registration. If u are so worry about it, just keep the receipt, that is your proof of purchase with date and imei.
