jaunty .. if only Rm 200-300, I think the silky is of no value lioa lor. A mixed breed costs somewhere around that price and some ppl sell mixed breeed of pekingese/shihtzu at super high price ar!!

nope .. i buy Blackwood puppy. He's still a puppy ma. His food's finishing soon. Wanna noe roughly how much for big pack. Biggest is only 7 kg ? Don't have 10 kg ?

not sure how long. The 3.63kg .. he's like finish them up on about 3 weeks ?? or 3 weeks plus ? nearly to one month but that's when I gave him 3/4 cup per meal only. Now i wanna increase his food intake to 1 cup coz he's growing so much now. Thot of getting the biggest pack lor
. RM 80+ still okay .. hehee. This saturday go Seri Kembangan's st Angel's buy - got discount one ler .. . And shun bian take his 3rd vaccination coz he's not on medication anymore. His ears recovered fully and his body also .. recovered fully  |

hepy is only 5 months old now .. can feed him with Blackwood Lamb + Rice mer ?? I thot must feed Puppy kibbles until he's 1 yr old ?? If can switch, then maybe i will switch to Lamb + Rice too.

ooo .. so, i can feed Hepy with Lamb + Rice lar. I thot he's a puppy - so, it is a must to give him puppy kibbles until he's 1 years old ma
. Then I guess I'll buy Lamb + Rice liao this saturday. Btwn, do i need to mix lamb+rice with a bit of puppy kibbles first to adjust it? Or i can just give him lamb+rice totally since they're both blackwood too? |

wah ... 3 meals per day. I give hepy 2 meals per day only. I don't think it's a must to give 1 meal per day when they're 18 months old gua. If your dog has some skin allergies, then maybe u give 1 meal per day lor.

Riccaval likes to organize gatherings... that pic was taken before I took Chelsea home lah.... but Chelsea got to meet her father named Charlie.... size and face looks like Chelsea hahah.... Chelsea's sister follow the mom's looks more.... Bear Bear and Charlie, come out 2 puppies only heheheh.... Chelsea and her sister Lizzie.

Inside container loh.... hamsters are ok. No one gets freaked out by hamsters.... but animals bigger than that or reptiles sure they won't allow to bring in openly.

I used to bring my hamsters travelling in the LRT and express bus (KL<->Ipoh).
I put them in a plastic aquarium and put the aquarium in a big paper bag and carry it with me. It is quite convenient and my hamsters are very quiet so nobody actually notice it. They go with me when I am staying over at my aunt's place or if I am going back to my hometown. |

i sorta murdered my hamsters.
Hun knows da story.. it all started very well when i had 2 syrians, 1 female n 1 male, was so stupid dat i din check online for info. dat time not so into forums n internet yet. so i left them 2gether 4 bout 4months or more, cant recall, they went really well. no fight, loving.. but 1 morning, i woke up n saw da male 1 chewing into the female's neck. da female 1 was dead, for a few hours d i think. he ate all her flesh, chewed open her neck. i felt so upset, n my bf took a plastic bag, opened up da cage cover, put them inside da plastic bag, left it in da big dumpster. mostly it din survive. i just couldnt keep it anymore after seeing da bloody scene. dat time i din even know dat ppl can adopt hamsters n stuffs yet. all cause of my foolishness n lack-of-knowledgeness..i killed 2 lifes. for nothing. sigh. |

i remembered hun mentioned before about breeds that are born with short tail. Most of the dogs are borned with long tails.

i never cage them cos they'll bark my roof down.
even i cage them for 5mins while i mop my floor, they bark like i treat them very bad untill need 2 call SPCA like dat. my housemates say they wil sleep when i go out n oni wake up when i'm back. good puppies. haha. |

let them roam free?? nvr for my puppy, will bite things lah, eat rubbish lah, this lah, that lah.......
so whenever i'm out, cage!!!! no choice....... i try before when I'm out, put her into the play pen, then put papers at the corner, so that she can go pee and poo when she wans. When i return, the papers all teared.......try few times, now no more...... mayb later try again.....if can, then I'll let her sleep in the play pen, with papers at the corner, more comfortable for her also. |

Hmmm Pretty Love cage a lot...whenever i let her free roam she will back cage for nap...
and if she stay at cage , she very guai and just chew her nylone bone. and lui lui used to stay at cage when i not around too , so both of them okay with cage |

If not person around, she'll go to sleep in the cage, wont bark or whine, which is good. |

this worries me.. if i cage my hugo at nite when we're sleeping, he sure will pee poo de mah.
i will wake up and bring him out shh shh wan but wad if sometimes i overslept and too tired and 4get to bring him out shh shh.. so he no choice must do his bisness inside lor.. if he shh shh nvm, but wad if he shit.. the white fur will kena anot.. so scared.. will he sleep away frm the shit or he step on it or worst.. sleep on it? So scared. |

Hepy used to pee/poo in cage too. That was when he wasn't train. So, he jz cincai pee/poo wherever he feels like it
 cleaning up. Then in the process of training him, sometimes when I come home from campus, he'll poo in the cage / pee too. So, I washed the whole tray with detergent and then I wipe dry the tray. Then spray lots and lots of vinegar on the tray and put to dry. So, now I only put the tray back underneath the cage without newspaper jz in case if he kenot tahan and pee/poo when i'm not around. But luckily, now he doens't do it anymore .. hehehe. He doesn't pee/poo in the cage anymore. Not to say now that I've put a huge pillow in his cage for him to sleep more comfortably, he got no space to pee/poo in the cage at all |

The one with the cage .. i don't want to put newspapers anymore coz I assume that when Hepy smells the newspapers' smell, he tends to pee/poo there. After the last time i washed with vinegar and put to dry, he didn't pee/poo at all in the cage. He only pee/poo when I open his cage and let him out in the morning / when i'm back home. The other tray, i put at corner, that one I got put newspapers and floormats coz that's the one I want Hepy to pee/poo at . |

i was kinda very embarrased.
she gave me so many stuffs.. even his wee wee pad cost around rm49 per pack, 3 biogroom shampoo + conditioners, everything dat belongs 2 him. feel so bad for taking so much. da bil.jac kibbles r actually new u know, jus a few meals taken oni.. they now peace a bit d.. jack-jack knows he lots 2 Prince, so no more fighting. sleeping d. |

it's advisable not to give any salty salty or sweet sweet food to your dogs ler. It's for their health neh .. I see that lotsa ppl give their dogs human food coz they kenot tahan to see the pitiful faces of their dogs. But anyway, personally, i will not give. I'll only stick solely to kibbles and once in a blue moon, give him a canned food and also olive oil. I dun wanna risk my doggy's life.

better don't cincai feed your furkids lar. Don't regret at later stage ler - it'll be too late!! If you really sayang your furkid, u will not cincai give it food. Yes, they will look at you with pitiful face, but just ignore it lar. Otherwise, u're going to regret in the future. Think of the consequences ler. It's not like "nevermind lar. Just a bit only. Won't affect anything." But have you guys thought of the accumulation of your "nevermind" could be as high as mountain? Jz stick to kibbles lar.

Ok I have a serious problem.
Today I was playing with Casper, teaching him play-dead. When he rolled on the floor, I noticed he has bruises near his private part, near his balls and the back legs there. Then I searched elsewhere for more bruises and saw many more smaller patches on his stomach and chest. Then I remembered when I showered him, when his fur was wet, I saw before on his back. I doubt he did it to himself because if he could do to the belly area, how to do to their backs right? I dont think my maid mistreat him either. Is this because the food is not compatible for him? I am feeding Orijen for now but I had no idea his bruises was all over him. When I touched it and peel off the bruise skin, he does not seem to be in pain. Is this normal? Skin drop? Food not ngam? Whats the matter ah? Can anyone advice? |

Fungus can be passed on by contact with another dog or cat that has fungus.... a dog that likes to play in damp grass or has been damp quite often(never dried properly after bath) can result in fungus forming coz sometimes fungus spores are in the air and they like damp and warm.

mayb still will buy.
just bought a 24kg breeder pack blackwood for my hometown dogs, prince, den i left half for jack-jack n xun-xun. easier n cheaper, since they're taking half barf d, need 2 cut down some cost. their food will cost around rm4-5 per day now, excluding da kibbles. kibbles has the nutrition they need, da barf is just like an add on. later on will buy flaxseed oil 2 add on to da barf diet. |

no la, since hun say its a better way 2 feed dogs, y not giv it a try. they love da new diet too. it may not last forever la, but haha i'll make them meals as much as i can la. tiring ler, blending, den mixing..
sigh, still doing reseach on barf. da meal i gave them is not complete yet. btw i was confused wif spaying n neutering b4 this too. haha. Added on July 22, 2007, 6:24 pmhey guys, need 2 clarify something i said n did wrongly previously about BARF. i shouldnt hv fed kibbles mixed wif BARF diet together in da same bowl. we can feed them as 2 seperate meals, but not together cos it will increase the amount of time the food is in the body, and increasing the possibility of illness from microbes. i wonder is 325grams of food for jack-jack per day, is it too lil? its 5% of its body weight. xun-xun takes oni 100grams but she never gets enuf.. If really into BARF, have to research appropriately before hand.
What i worry most abt BARF is, if we need to be away from the dogs, then it is difficult to find somebody that is willing to go to the market to get those fresh ingredients, and we will not know whether they will clean it properly before hand or giving the right proportion. I still prefer kibbles lor, but only the best. |

I only feed FiFi around 80g per day only......i follow the instructions stated at the back of the kibbles bag. THis is from BW puppy : A 8 oz. measuring cup holds 3 3/4 oz. of BW Puppy 10 lbs.(4.5kg) - Or Less 1/4 - 3/4 cups 10 - 20 lbs.(9.07kg) 1 - 1 1/2 cups Meaning a cup holds 2.13oz = 88.7g u feed 325g per day, too much liao lah i think......for a 9.07kg puppy, only feed 1 - 1 1/2 cups (133.05g). |

eh, i'm not feeding oni kibbles la. kibbles jus lil amount. mostly all vege puree + meat + chicken neck.
dat will b very heavy lor. i count according to his body weight ar. barf diet it says should b around 3%-10% of ur dog's weight. so jack2 is 6.5kgs, should b around 325grams lor. he needs 2 add on weight. i dunno y he is heavy, but very skinny. everytime hold him can touch is ribs. xun-xun gets 100grams but she thinks it not enuf. zzz.. |

if can touch his ribs, then meaning he's skinny lor. Hepy too. Last time kenot feel his ribs one. But lately he has not been eating his kibbles. Ate a few tiny bits only and last nite I only realised waht is the main cause - his tooth
. After his little tooth came off, he started eating like usual again - 1/2 - 1 cup of kibbles .. hehe. |

he doesnt quite like eating kibbles, i dunno y. sometimes he eats alot, sometimes he like fast for the whole day. consulted da vet before, they told me dat he's very moody, gave me vitamin solutions for him.
they say he's heavy cos his frame and bones, not cos his fat. kinda underweight if count oni his flesh. sigh, dunno how 2 make him fat. at least last nite he was eating his barf meal. i was wondering when xun-xun is loosing all her teeth. dat time i'm gonna laugh at her den take pics of her teethless. haha. |

Hhahahahaaahaha ... hepy looks so weird without one incissor tooth at the bottom
. After last nite, I'm going to start and feed Hepy 3 meals a day 1/2 to 1 cup per meal until he gain back his weight again. He's so skinny now - can feel his ribs so thoroughly. Has been so worried coz he wasn't eating and thot of taking him to the vet already .. hehe. Luckily now no more problem - else it's goin to burn a hole in my pocket again . |

got ... every saturday, i surely will take him to the park and run one. I usually walk 1-2 big big round .. around 30 min walk .. and he walks with me. After that, I'll take him to the carpark there .. no cars at all coz the carpark too big already .. everyone parks in front .. side no cars. Then paly with him there. I stand at one end .. my bf stand at the other end .. then call his name and make him run until he's all out
. Then bring him home .. bath and makan .. hehe. |

sure very tired.
every 1 or 2 days i'll bring them out for walks in a park near my house. many ppl exercise there. walk pass all those house got big big dogs barking at us. sked sked. don like his paws all dirty den he jump on my bed. sigh. |

how u bring two together ler ?? I dun dare to walk to the park alone with Hepy. Kinda dangerous coz here is kinda desserted area
. So, I wait saturday and sundays lor when my bf is not working - got car . And everytime after i bring him to the park, .. come back liao .. sure bath straight away . Don't want him to enter into my room and step on my tilam, etc .. dirty. Dunno wanna get him shoes or not ler. Heard from my friend that the shoes are of no use and dogs prefer to walk with bare feet. Sked buy liao then he dun wan to wear - then waste of money. shoes - hun said earlier, she bought pair of shoes but she realised dat chealsea walks weird wearing those shoes. now da shoes collecting dust. haha.
probably its not comfy lor, cos its odd 2 wear something for them, samor they need 2 walk on them. imagine humans wearing uncomfy shoes. hurts rite.. last time wanted 2 buy shoes for them too, but its so costy and hard - the material. better let them walk barefoot lor. i'll bring them for walks wif my bf. after his class, around 5.30pm. he leesh jack-jack, i carry xun-xun. den let them run around 4 a while, den go home, daddy washes their legs. haha |

i think wear shoes not lead to leg problem, is hard for them to walk, coz the friction is lesser, they hard to stand and walk with it.

eh things about shoes ar, last time Jade got 2 pairs of shoes, but in the end she bite all then dump aside, only wear whenever we already applied med on her legs LOL..

i bought from a girl named evon de...her dog shih tzu gave birth so she cant take care so many so she sold all her 4 shih tzu pup ^^ but now i think sold all liao ler... this is pic of mikey on the left and with his 2 other brothers..^^ he had one other sister but didnt take pic with them

Yap, that Ming Tien is the one next to Pets Family lor. Normally they are OK for us to bring in pets one, as long as it doesnt disturb others.

mikey is getting more and more naughty edi now but he sleeping that time memang very cute de...
and he likes to sleep on my lap so lately i got many sleepless nights because if i put him down he wakes up actually im thinking of adopting another male shih tzu for him to play with de coz he always looks so lonely when im away for classes...but now i got no money liao to buy another baby boy  so if anyone found any lost male shih tzu with no owner to come and retake them PM me k ^^ Angelgurl |

haha its good 2 get him a partner, but after he finishes all his jabs. when i 1st bought my 2nd shihtzu, i made sure da older shih tzu isnt sick and owez clean, so dat will its ensures a bit dat da small one wont get sick or wat..

very fragile at that time... after 3mths++ la.. i guess we all stay quite near to each other.. now im at cheras la.. will move to pj after i got my hugo. |

lately ive been seeing many pet dogs wandering around usj:/ just yesterday my sis came across a nice cocker spainel...but then it ran away when she open the car door to view the dog..and today i saw a beagle but then how to bring back all this doggie when now my hse got 2...if i continue picking up dogs every time i see them alone i think i can open shelter home ...haih~ sometimes i wander if the owner is just careless or the doggie is very notti likes to go explore.is there anyway we can prevent this happening less? precaution tips/teaching the doggie not to venture out?

But sumtimes those dog which is like to go out explore wan is because of the owner always cage or leash it , and once they is the fron gate open , they feel there lots of freedom awaiting them, Well But i saw my neighbour own 4 dogs here ..when open gate , they will not run out also just like Hun 's Tammy and Toby . But there lots of abandon dogs also..which is some owner feel the dog old already and wanna let it go ...or some of them feel the dog is naughty and dun have time to teach and the last choice will be just throw and abandon on the street . Cruel isn't it? Hope this matter will be solve too , i dun wish those pity dog wandering around on the street ....  |

why not me.. awwww preety doesnt want any other ppl come near her home?
ya sheba loves day dream in the afternoon and sleep early at nite.if she stays awake after 9pm she will give drowsy eye look.yesterday i craddle her in my arm and sang lulabby she tried to fight off sleeping but her eye lids were to heavy..my sis and mom laughed seeing her with such human experssion lol |

digitral - how did you get ur budget so low?
i wanna learn oso! they 1 month oso cant finish 1 pack of dog food? think i shouldnt buy snacks so often for them d since i'm using carrot n cucumber sticks now 2 train them do tricks..haha.. sometimes when i go 2 pet shop, intend 2 buy something i really need, owez end up buying more stuffs than i should. wan buy food, but end up buying food and snacks..or other items dat i never use..zzz..dats y owez spoil my budget, no sense of money savings inside me.. |

i think it shud be more than RM 40 per month .. need to buy heartgard, etc .. then when shampoo finishes, need to buy, etc. Hepy alone one month is more than RM 50.

fair oso wor..nex time can think of dat. if not i cant trace bac who ate more.. ya lor buying heartguard alone would b quite costy d. but lucky its not monthly expenditure lor. heartguard last for 6months, shampoo around 2-3months..conditioner i'm using human ones. m i suppose 2 do dat? my pocket money is weekly based 1, so every week i'll set an amount for them, but i owez buy too much.. dunno y jus cant control myself. my previous self-groom was a failure.. din dare 2 groom them anymore. nowadays my bf is learning how 2 cut their fur..nice nice, but i owez hv 2 bathe them up after his "makeover"..samor BARF diet make them quite messy sometimes when they finish eating, den lick each other.. *ewww..* |

cannot use human conditioner oh... actually getting pure paws can last very long.. coz can dilute de mah. and also 1 to 2 week bath 1 time only.. im getting pure paws coz can tahan quite long .. and the quality also good.. maybe is becoz i only use for hugo lor.. jaunty got 2 shih tzu.. abit over priced i think.

better start the heartworm prevention as soon as your puppy gets his 3rd vaccination. That's what the vet suggested to me. So, 1 week after hepy's 3rd vaccination, I started giving him ProHeart. It costs me RM 50 for 6 tablets (last for 6 months coz i'ts one tablet per month). If your dog is over 6 months old, then you will need to do heartworm testing, in which case, i'm not sure about the price.
Heartgard is just a brand name for heartworm prevention. It's kinda popular coz most ppl are giving heartgard. As for my case, the vet suggested to me ProHeart and told me it's the same effect .. hehe. |

still prefer the Kelco shampoo and conditioner from SS2 pets supplier, dilute 1:32, haha.............save money, some more quite famous in US, so can consider as good brand also.
THre is one brand for heartworm prevention one, heart-shape, can split into half for small breed dogs, if not mistaken Pets Buddy selling around RM40 only, for six heartshape tablet, means can last for 12 months!!! But i din buy lah. |

hartz 1 ade 2in1 wif conditioner, den i use human conditioner..omg.. joana - u really can dilute 1:32? use 32 bottles? think i'm getting proheart after this, since it has da same effect, cheaper like almost rm15? means xun-xun oso need 2 start heartworm prevention d lor, she's 4months ++ liao. |
