Riccaval likes to organize gatherings... that pic was taken before I took Chelsea home lah.... but Chelsea got to meet her father named Charlie.... size and face looks like Chelsea hahah.... Chelsea's sister follow the mom's looks more.... Bear Bear and Charlie, come out 2 puppies only heheheh.... Chelsea and her sister Lizzie.

Her sister is Malaysian Champion liao... and produced very nice puppies... One puppy looks like Chelsea but don't have Chelsea's special eyes lah heheheh.

Hahah.... Chelsea loves people.... aiyah, hard to smuggle into LRT LOL. Next time come to my place lah, then can meet and play with her.

I don't dare smuggle Chelsea loh LOL.... but I normally carry other pets in the LRT. Just yesterday was a snake.

Inside container loh.... hamsters are ok. No one gets freaked out by hamsters.... but animals bigger than that or reptiles sure they won't allow to bring in openly.

He is marking territory.... is your bed but did you mark it by peeing on your bed? No rite? So he make his move. Coz he is new, he doesn't know who is Alpha yet.... see anything that has no mark, he do 1st lah.

Erm... do you know the seed is toxic to dogs? If she swallow some bites, it can be dangerous.

Haha... good good. That is right. It is the best to be cautious and also not fall for those cute sad doggy eyes. Fruits and vegies are ok as treats, but never the stuff you would not eat.... like the seeds or skin of certain fruits..... Doggy treats also best to give limited amounts, best stick to the biscuit type. Kibbles are of course the best of all.

Could be fungus.... have you seen Casper scratch alot lately?

Fungus can be passed on by contact with another dog or cat that has fungus.... a dog that likes to play in damp grass or has been damp quite often(never dried properly after bath) can result in fungus forming coz sometimes fungus spores are in the air and they like damp and warm.

I had ringworm infection on my cat before, which past to me as well but then easily treated so not to worry.

You can bring to a vet to test to see if it is yeast or ringworm or other sort of skin problem.

The vet gave you 3 meds coz I think he also unsure what is the causes..... if Orijen is causing this, then stop. If your Casper was doing ok with Eaglepack, you can continue with it.

You do not mix the medication with the food, that won't help at all. The only way is to force the meds into his mouth. If you are afraid to do it, get soft sweet bread.... then wrap the pill with some bread, shape it into a ball and put into the mouth.... or you can use canned food... if this helps lah. There is a pill syringe, sold at some petshops.... it looks like a big syringe that you think was for giving injections but it is made of plastic, with a small clip at the end. The clip holds the pill, the syringe holds the water and you just pump the water to wash the pill into the throat.

You should stop giving milk powder already..... dogs don't need the extra proteins from milk unless its a lactating female or an underweight dog or young puppy.

As long you do not change brands all of the sudden, then it is ok.

Rashes can be anything.... some dogs get hot spots.... some redness under their belly.... some all over the body, some flaky skin. The reasons can be anything.... shampoo, food, environment, grass, moisture, fungus spores, bacteria, allergies....

If Casper still shows such signs even after eating Eaglepack, then change food.... get fish protein.... or lamb..... so far I have heard good feedbacks about fish protein. Lamb is good too.... some dogs are allergic to beef and chicken so lamb is one of the substitutes...

Another brand which is manufactured for sensitive dogs is Addiction.... I don't think picky eaters will eat this brand but it is the only brand that is producing Vegetarian dogfood and wild game dogfood. Chicken and beef and sometimes lamb can cause allergies.... but wild game animals do not. Possum, Venison, Kangaroo are some of the meats Addiction uses in its product line.....

Well.... if you have eaten any bread that is soft and taste a bit sweet, you can use that. Sometimes I buy potato bread from the bakery.... but any bread that is soft and taste a bit sweet will do.

I bet Casper won't even touch Addiction if he smells it hahaha.... coz my Chelsea won't.

Anyway, I don't know if Pet Safari still sell it or not but I remember seeing the syringe sold there. I once had one, got it from a vet in Subang.... I think it was Mayo clinic.... it was easy to feed pills with that syringe.

Added on July 31, 2007, 12:46 amAnother reason why must be soft and a bit sweet... soft so that you can easily roll the pill with the bread and make it like a small ball. Sweet is so that it covers up the smell of the tablet as well as acts like glue so the ball won't fall apart.

Well, if your Casper don't like bread, you can use Caesar but then Caesar is very soft.... you will have to make it sticky and slightly solid as if it were Plasticine hahaha. You can add some oats into the canned food, mix it and cover up the pill.

Mayo Clinic is near Taipan.... but I am not sure if they still have that syringe since it came with the meds and that was like 2 years ago hehehe.... but you can call them first. The number is on the vet list.

I was about to say cheese but then I remembered the vet I go to said that some meds cannot be mixed with dairy products....

Tick(kutu) season is during rainy seasons.... the ticks likes warm places, not moist and damp. So they hop onto dogs coz warm and got fur to protect from rain.... Luckily my house got no tick infection for the last 6 years hahahaha.

Hahah... i been there too. The black MS is called Guiness.... the silver one is called Rufus and the S&P is called Walter(I think so).... well Walter had a nice grooming session when I went with Reanne.... but then he came up to me and wipe his face on my butt and tummy.... got his picture in my handphone LOL.... Rufus would sit like a statue for a treat while Guiness is hyper hyper black MS.

Cos the MS very cute.... I really felt like kidnapping Walter coz he was so manja hahahh....

I only been there once... so not familiar.... Reanne would know where.... I took their name card but then forgot where I put it... later I'll check for it lah.

Yah, Sri Hartamas... pet boutique mah.... sells all sorts of doggy clothes, bowls, carriers, toys and even treats.... They do doggy day care.... there was a poodle, bulldog, JRT, pug, chihuahua running around.... and an injured shih tzu that is recovering from injuries since it was rescued...

She is one of the members here....

Ah, I never carried any of the MS there.... but Walter did like to rub his face into me....

Hahah.. that's a cute bed.... if I get one, it will become a dust collector since Chelsea only likes our beds and sofas.... naughty girl...

IKEA got pet section loh.... it is where they sell the plants and pots and vase.... very small. Got blanket, bowls, lint rollers and doggy beds for sale there.
