Dong Zong today and BN days always push for UEC to be recognised. They are consistent and i don't see how in any way they are racist. “liberal malays” group are VERY SMALL, You can see almost all malays dont support siti kassim, LGBT groups, and other things like opening quotas.

In fact most Malays nowadays support more progressive Islamic movement that focuses on open debates about religions, comparative religion, corruption free government, Islamic Financing, Clean governance and of course economic support for bumis.

The reason why BN lose is that Najib are too corrupt, he took our epf for his stupid project and took down felda (one of the main body that support bumi economic agenda).

These malays are not far right who only concern race and religion, the importance of economic development plays a major role too, this is why the swing voters do not vote for najib that causes problems like felda downfall, china debt trap, rosmah luxury trips, jho low exploitations etc.

The nons only focuses on “extreme version” of things which make them fail to see why its hard to have malay support their “abolish bumi rights and privilages” ideals.

You think theres only “Religious and racist malay”  on one end and “liberal and progressive malay” on the other end.

But the middle group “Religious and progressive malay” are the main players within the swing voters group that you nons dont realize.

These group are the ones who still respect religion and religious figures at heart but also focus on importance of good governance, corruption free, and economic growth of the nation.

So theres no “malays that support PH are liberals” at all..

Most of them are religious and progressive, and mostly are ex BN and PAS voters.
