actually i think one important point was left out in this equation.

one of the more important factor PH won was the miscalculation that PAS spoils PH vote, but the strategy stupidly backfired causing BN's the GE.

now when BN and PAS play R&R, u think how big a chance PH will win? unless PH use back the shameful gerrymandering method la. redrawn sempadan

Dong Zong today and BN days always push for UEC to be recognised. They are consistent and i don't see how in any way they are racist. Our federal constitution already lay out our current education foundation. They are just hoping UEC students can enter public universities and get admitted to certain professional bodies

UEC can go to hell. also saying Jawi is form of islamisation is not racist and islamphobes?

Last GE14 i was very move to vote for PH because of Tun Mahathir and to vote out Najib.
But my area only got DAP and BN. So i go for DAP. If, only if my area got PPBM or Warisan, im totally go for PPBM or Warisan instead of DAP.

Conclusion, im 100% agree with TS

Read my post, already cover this.
On the bolded part, news flash, that assumption only shared by the nons.

For all we know for most malays these allegations are unfounded and not proven.

“liberal malays” group are VERY SMALL, You can see almost all malays dont support siti kassim, LGBT groups, and other things like opening quotas.

In fact most Malays nowadays support more progressive Islamic movement that focuses on open debates about religions, comparative religion, corruption free government, Islamic Financing, Clean governance and of course economic support for bumis.

The reason why BN lose is that Najib are too corrupt, he took our epf for his stupid project and took down felda (one of the main body that support bumi economic agenda).

These malays are not far right who only concern race and religion, the importance of economic development plays a major role too, this is why the swing voters do not vote for najib that causes problems like felda downfall, china debt trap, rosmah luxury trips, jho low exploitations etc.

The nons only focuses on “extreme version” of things which make them fail to see why its hard to have malay support their “abolish bumi rights and privilages” ideals.

You think theres only “Religious and racist malay”  on one end and “liberal and progressive malay” on the other end.

But the middle group “Religious and progressive malay” are the main players within the swing voters group that you nons dont realize.

These group are the ones who still respect religion and religious figures at heart but also focus on importance of good governance, corruption free, and economic growth of the nation.

So theres no “malays that support PH are liberals” at all..

Most of them are religious and progressive, and mostly are ex BN and PAS voters.

So get the picture, dont simply think that Bumis suddenly support abolish bumi privilage at all. Do not create your own version of “Liberal Malay” based from your limited understanding of what Malays stands for.

ooo...thats where you're wrong boy. The liberals may make up a small percentage but they carry a lot of weight cos they are the middle and upper middle class to high class malays with lots of money due to Thanos and Pak Lah, including najib giving them contracts to keep this segment up against the richer chinese and indians. Royalty included.

Do you think they want their freedom curtailed by religious nuts who only have sex with kids on their mind? Iran just legalised a father's marriage with their own step child...think they do not want to implement rules like these when they are in power, including public whipping for muslims for drinking alchohol (which a lot of them do), no visiting of 4-D shops by muslims..etc.?

They will never let a nut job religious politician take over the country, Anwar included with his ABIM bullshit, he's more liberal now compared to his younger days, hence the butt-seks all over the country by his followers.

cherry pick?

SEPANG, Aug 13 — Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad alleged today that Dr Zakir Naik runs the risk of being killed if the controversial televangelist is deported back home to India to face charges of money laundering and inspiring terrorism.

However, the prime minister said he is open to the idea of sending the fugitive Indian national to other countries, following renewed backlash against the preacher for his remarks against local ethnic Indians.

“The problem that we face is that we cannot send him back. Because he runs the risk of being killed.

“So he is here today, but if any country wants to have him, they are welcome to do so,” Dr Mahathir said following the 21st anniversary of the KLIA airport.

Last month, Dr Mahathir had said that Malaysia is not keen for Dr Zakir to be here, but is hard-pressed to deport him elsewhere as “many countries” will not accept the controversial Islamic preacher either.
