fine woodworking, from tree slab to furniture

preview » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « just to share a journey of 4feet slabs from being a part of a sawn off tree log to being a bar table slabs arrived in rough form and dirty, size around 20inches x 4feet each.  first we clean the slab and start work on levelling them flat on both sides  once its flat, we put it on the table saw  as we want to trim off the sides of the natural edge/life edge as we want to join two pieces to make a wider table of 2x4feet  >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> to be cont. The slab looks moist. When it dry up, it is warp and crack.

How about the inside of the wood? Untreated wood should rot easily right? I wonder if they still can sustain weight and use for furniture

Not bad, although I'm not a big fans of wood, but I curious how they will turn out from abandoned rotten wood to nice furniture
