Yes, its only screwed at one side. Two screws. The other side is slide into a metal plate. Its removable and if mod abit, it can also face sideways..

ya ya sweat.gif already checked it out sweat.gif

it is removable, thought it wasn't due to the riveted side doh.gif

thanx for the clarification thumbup.gif

i think i'm going to same thing with PC-A10 la... FYI, the HDD cage is rivetted to it's base, i think, un-rivetting them and rescrew or re-riveting might possible? (thinking to rotate to the other side (hiding those connector purpose)

@ nicholas_1213

Nicely done with the PaxMate there. Will check out what i can do with my PaxMate for now..LOL..

@sniper69

I tried to do that with my PC-7B but after some checking, its not doable on original PC-7. Need some modifications...I do love to have a sideway HDD rack for easier cable management.

yeah i did the same, and from the research laugh.gif, i have to do some quite a lot of work, once the HDD cage turned, i figured, another problem arise, how will the SATA power & data cable will route to? unsure.gif, need to study again... smile.gif

Yalo, according to him, original price is around RM70++ (forgot already), but i got my unit for RM25 hehe.. but for it's ori purpose which is to reduce the noise produced by the fans, i don't really test it as in like a 'before and after', my purpose is just to enhance the look only hehe..

Well, yea, that might be a problem but at least it will be better than my current setup. I tried both ways on my current setup :

Sata cables facing outsite (mobo area) and Sata cables facing inside (front intake fan area) and both setup doesnt seem too good. Its still kinda hard to manage it which makes me wonder how can i shift the HDD tray sideways.

Well, at least its not easy for me. I tried very hard last time to see how can i do it but i turned lazy at the end..LOL..Its hard to match the HDD tray screw holes to the PaxMate.Besides, i think i need to cut the other end as well (the part where the other leg of the HDD tray slides in)..In the end, i gave up. Any tips on how to do that?

LOL..Luckily i did not peel off the back when tried to install the PaxMate. Another reason for me not using the PaxMate anymore in my LL (Transfered to my C5) is because i am reluctant to cover off those beautiful aluminum internals of the casing..LOL...

Hemm the paxmate come with 2 size right? one is memang fit the bottom size one (but i still cut a bit bcos it's too long). use that one, do the marking 1st at the bottom of the paxmate (below the white paper where u'll going to tear it away soon), then cut it, then only tear off the white paper to paste it.

for the slide in part, just cut a line as a opening.. this part is a bit tricky a bit, as you've put your hdd cage's leg through the opening, slide it into the holder 1st before paste and press it firmly.. sorry for my poor description sweat.gif

hehe, if really nextime change casing, then sell the paxmate together with it lo.. bcos i still have a lot of paxmate.. for the remaining paxmate i think i still can use it on other 2 more casings hehe..
