my top fan has been totally removed and covered with a cardboard.

cant fit a fan there as im running on GTS 320 SLI (my A10 has been modded to BTX style). so no space. but sniper69 was using it as an intake.

the thing with the A10 is that it has no front intake for the top section (aka mobo section) only has an intake for the HDDs. so the top panel intake compensates for that....somemore it blows directly to the hsf.

if ur running on stock configuration (aka ATX) then i guess the top should remain as intake.

AFAIK there are no BTX Style cases that has a removable mobo tray UNLESS u mod it.

so most likely ur gonna have to make a sacrifice of one or the other tongue.gif

the top fan.....too bad man....25mm is thinnest u can get for 120mm fans...i was trying to look for some as well..best bet i guess u could do a custom plate...and mount a smaller and thinner fan to it. mine i didnt bother so i just closed it up with some black cardboard.

i find the build of the A10 ok actually...especially after uve installed all the hardware. mine is sturdy. but also of course i have 2 big ass GCs in there.

the 24pin extention can be done....abit tough...but parts can be sourced from jalan pasar...all u need is some cables and the pins and also the 24pin male and female molex.

anyway 2 more things...

1/ congrats on the purchase and welcome to the LL club

2/ pix of GTFO laugh.gif

That 1 is the lian li armor case.

Anyone here knows what casing is this? definitely looks like lian li but can't seem to find the model.

It closely resemble PC-007 or PC-60, but the top fan hole and hard disk rack looks different.

Lian Li Strikes back with their minute differences. when are they gonna design an entirely new case? waiting for another anniversary to make another ridiculous looking design?

the HDD cage...cant really tell much from that angle...but i suspect it aint easy to install or remove the HDD with the thumbscrews in that position...

as for the top fan........ doh.gif doh.gif after put PSU got space meh to put the fan?? looking at the pic the PSU mounting looks to be the same as a normal mount. wat the hell is the point of the top vent? to help dust get in easier?

aiyooooooooooooooooooo doh.gif

cable management could have been alot better imho...like the IDE cable...should put it inside the HDD bay. still alot to improve imho.

also ur freezer should make it blow towards the back. u put like that itll be sucking hot air from the GC.

Wow..Thanks for the tips there. So, people at Jln Pasar will know about those stuff if i were to ask them? Been there once before but it was over-crowded that time so i did not ask much. Well, i bought the PP04 before (I think cost roughly RM25) but it was not really that long. I bought it for my cousin who have a tough time routing the wires for TJ06 which at the same situation, have the PSU at the top while running BTX style.

Guess i need to check out that place for once and see what stuff they have there  smile.gif  Another thing is, my electronical skills or whatever they call it are as well as dead since i leave school though..LOL...

Regarding the sound card, well, i did not really use the Asus PCIe sound card. Its just that it felt "wasted" if i were to not install it. Guess for routing cable purposes, i need to take it off..LOL...
LOL..Now you make me wish you were back here to make some for me.. tongue.gif Nice job there...

best u bring a sample of the molex. make or female is fine. then its easier for them to identify which molex. and more importantlu u can test fit to make sure its all good.
