the reason that I have the reservoir just above pump coz if I put it at top of the HDD cage then where should I put the rom ? and I don't want to mount it horizontally coz it would be hard to fill up the liquid ...
another issue is I don't want to drill any hole at the rom cage ... I try to get it done without altered too much...

why you want to mount the rad like that? wouldn't that be easier if invert the current position ?

@LittleLinnet
Coz the radiator barb doesn't aligned with the casing's pass through holes ..
5 mm of different for each side, else I won't want to mount it up side down considering the pump have to work harder to pump the water ...
@sniper on the roof hmmm, good suggestion but by doing that I won't be able to monitor the water level ....

Who say t-line cannot see water level? Leave it longer lar. Anyway, I think that you mount your rad like that is even worse than mounting it inverted as you have that big long curve upwards from rad-into-case and down again into pump. About the lining problem...if you use some sort of spacer between the fan mounting hole and that of the rad.. then 5mm difference is nothing lor.

finally doom rig is in ah lian again hehe........ btw is it a A16 ??
sorry not that familiar with LL's line up.....
well basically spacer u can use 1 or 2 size up without problem, just make sure the mounting screw is sufficiently long and had enough thread at the end to hold things up
btw noon on WC, what is a T line ??

There's a very simple soluton. Just mount the rear 120x38mm fan on the outside instead of inside. Then mount the radiator on the fan. That gives u a nice solid mount and a 38mm gap to the case. The lower part of the radiator u use a 120x25mm fan so there's a gap between case n fan for air to go in. This post has been edited by ianho: Nov 4 2007, 10:37 AM Attached thumbnail(s)

The problem with this setup would be the side panel could not close fully .. Although this is what I did yesterday night .... hahaha .. Would be searching for a 5cm hex bolt to mount the fan internally and still have the gap outside .. the miss alignment of the rad vertically is by 8mm .. so it has to be mounted slightly away from the case .. to have the tube bent outwards to pass through the holes ... anyway redo the tubes and rad mount ..

Ahhh. So much nicer now. After seeing ur pic with the mobo stand offs oni i understand about ur side panel cant close. It's hitting the rad on the chrome part right? Brilliant solution with the mobo stand offs. This post has been edited by ianho: Nov 4 2007, 09:59 PM

hahaha actually it still can't closed properly but at least I could attach it on..
will be sourcing for better hexagon bolt with 5 cm of length ...so that I could bolt through the fan and reach out to the rad .....
