1050, 1650 all crippled GPU.
If they give an option for that, never take it.
Minimum is 1060 or 1660.

I sometimes really dislike Nvidia because of this.

Maybe u wanna try mine. 🤭🤭

You go top end no issues.
I'm taking about those budget builds especially notebooks.
If they want a discreet GPU, never ever take a **50 series, they'll just be shooting themselves in the leg.
Bare minimum needs to be **60.

Ya but really depending on the Budget.
Can do with set with Low graphics setting than full speed of game mode.

Ya, sometimes have to juggle budget
I'd rather reduce the SSD size and get the GPU first.
SSD can upgrade matter, GPU soldered in.
But different people, different preferences.

To me, if I really wanted to play games for sure will go with Razer blade 15 2019 comes with RTX2080.
But I don’t think I need that.
For my main purpose was go for workstation lah 😅😅
Gaming laptop really can’t last longer due to GPU outdated faster than you printed money 💰

I'm waiting for USB4
Native thunderbolt support.
If can't wait, then must use Intel CPU with thunderbolt connection.
Get external GPU can game at home.

But I almost never play games anyway, so a discrete GPU isn't really my thing.

Ya if the USB4 is available, I think that AMD hasn’t issue for all available to connect with external GPU.

I can help buy ☺️☺️☺️
Damn! I just saw Malaysia price and now ThinkPad E595 is RM3,361.18 starting price. Just last week I saw it around RM2300. That's why need to be aware of these price differences by Lenovo. You buy on wrong day and timing is literally RM1000 difference in savings.

X395 is back with RM1 for 3 years warranty, I think after configure can get decent specs at about 3.2k.

Wait for next sale or find someone with education email.

Lenovo play around with the base price from day to another, best is to monitor beforehand and know the lowest/average price, then pull the trigger when there’s real sale/deal.

If you have Citibank cards, end of this month should have another sale for it.

I’ve been monitoring E495/595 since the start of this thread. The lowest it can go is bout RM2.1k (discounted) base specs. Now you go check the price got markup another 1k, LOL. I will wait for this weekend or next then see. Worst come to worst, there’s student price for 2.3k anytime now, better than nothing.

Really be careful when you purchase, do your research. Today Intel version of the E590 series is cheaper. Not only that, if you look at the specs, the base model of the cheaper E590 (intel) version is way better than the base specs of the E595 (amd) version today. So not only does Lenovo change the prices, but they also change the default base specs on their system from day to day.

1650 ok la. For budget user mah. Heavy gamer with highest setting might not be able to handle la, if if u set to medium setting should be okay.
Performance slightly under 1060x

btw to any1 who might be interested.
i found a real gem in lazada i7 9750h + gtx 1650 + 8gb ram- rm3.5k only
my aim is actually amd + 1650/ 1060 but those prices are sky high kns...
really tempting to lock the deal down.
