I'd definitely, seriously consider ThinkPad T495, with Ryzen 5, touchscreen, 3 year warranty and a lot of the "upgrades" like RM4 fingerprint.
Then I saw the resolution... just full HD. not even 1920x1200. pendek sial for laptop... once you're used to 3:2 screen you really don't wanna go back to using 16:9. RAM is slow, at 2666 that's gonna make ryzen crawl. but probably the board cannot take higher speed anyway so... ![]() Overall still a very very good deal IMO. |

Why not... for example, Ryzen 2700U is almost equivalent to i7-8550U with fraction of price, some more it comes with more powerful Vega 10 GPU compared to Intel 620.

Nice, the thinkpad using USB C port for charging?
No nid to carry those bulky powerbrick to charge. The amd variant quite value for money. Recently bought lenovo ideapad amd variant too and its performed well. So I will say go for it! |
