I'd definitely, seriously consider ThinkPad T495, with Ryzen 5, touchscreen, 3 year warranty and a lot of the "upgrades" like RM4 fingerprint.

Then I saw the resolution... just full HD. not even 1920x1200. pendek sial for laptop... once you're used to 3:2 screen you really don't wanna go back to using 16:9.

RAM is slow, at 2666 that's gonna make ryzen crawl. but probably the board cannot take higher speed anyway so...

Overall still a very very good deal IMO.

Thinkpad is well known for built quality especially the T series.

last time yes

then the last few gens lenovo has been screwing around with thinkpad making it shit, like changing keyboard feel and layout, trackpad size and buttons, etc

just ok only. old thinkpad to be is still so much better. and in win10 it's not like the older ones are slow anyway.

really ah? thanks captain obvious rolleyes.gif

there are special kind of people buying thinkpad. it's a workhorse machine designed for typing, that's why so much emphasis was centered around the keyboard.

not caring about it, it's like buying a supercar to drive at 20kph.
