Agree, this mortal kombat is not bad.

Good cgi, prety good fighting scenes with joe taslim, lewis tan, sadana... well known names.

Add to cast asano, ng chin han.

Ya better than previous old release but it still could be better.

CGI is awesome! Story is ok. Acting is so so, dialog is hmmm...

I was expecting something even better, until now still the animation Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge the best.

STOWAWAY .... if you like claustrophobic astronauts type of movies eg GRAVITY, this is quite good drama thriller

anthony hopkins wins his second oscar in The Father.

his first oscar was for Silence of the Lambs 1992.

Watched MINARI .. its a so so coming to america + korean drama ... nothing spectacular really... can be just a regular Netflix show.

Guess Hollywood is intrigued with korean culture for now, good timing for Oscars.

My first time watching this anime / story. Even though no head no tail of the plot, still understandable and very captivating actions story

Nice art / style, makes me curious about watching the anime series now

I also just finish watch, it is absolute story continue from TV series Season one. It make the season one had better ending.

just watched Nomadland - 2021 academy award winner for best picture, best director, best actress.

it is pure drama about houseless people (living in vans), not interested in normal society life in the middle of a recession.

it is not boring but may not appeal to some people.

a strong performance by frances mcdormand, winning her an oscar. 3/5.

a first best director oscar for a chinese/asian director, chloe zhao who is also the 2nd woman to win that award.

Busy night ... watched 2 movies straight

THE VAULT - was hooked to the plot with twists and turns action

THE COURIER - a true event story with Dr Strange .... a moving story .... dont expect action or thrills though

WITHOUT REMORSE - Good quality action conspiracy kind of movie and Michael Jordan as lead ... cant go wrong

VOYAGERS - average but watcheable sci fi movie

The Vault is alright, light and a bit clever... like Money Heist tv series. 3/5.

The Courier... slow spy drama, just watchable. 2.5/5.

Voyagers... story and plot is weak... compensated by several good young actors/actresses. 2.5/5.


Without Remorse... not as good as the Jack Ryan series... i expected more but it's alright.

this movie sets off the long awaited Jack Ryan spinoff for John Clark.

those who watch Jack Ryan movies will remember John Clark in Clear & Present Danger and Sum of All Fears.

without remorse also brings back the jack ryanverse context - cia dep director Robert Ritter and Karen Greer, niece of Jack Ryan's boss, Jim Greer.

as a fan of Tom Clancy novels/movies, i will give it a 3/5.

hope the sequel will be better... michael jordan will return as John Clark in:

Finished series of INVINCIBLE adult cartoon series ...expect similar style to THE BOYS series

PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN - oscar nominations got me curious .. and it is quite good, mysterious and vengeance themed story to the end ... wasn't boring the least.


WHITE TIGER - based on best seller book, this is quite a dark story ... not a feel good kind like SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE nor any usual hollywood visuals of india ... expect to see see / feel the slums of india and an after taste at end of movie

What's with all the ships and pods landed on this planet ended up crashing? The native aliens are still primitive to have advance weapon to begin with.

Voyagers - Im a scifi buff but this one just 3.

Moratl Kombat - Opening bloodsplatters were awesome visual effect. storyline is just meh. 3/5

Few bad movies with noteable actor/actresses .. didnt get past 15mins mark, just B grade feel from beginning





Managed to finish this one, just out of curiosity due to nominations/awards and Monica Belucci (damn, she aged a lot). Average movie, nothing great

Another meh movie with notable celebs

nothing new here but just wanted to highlight that make sure you dont missed out the small clip post credits

Fun movie for the family with lessons on family values .... colorful and beautiful animation

A slow moving drama style crime mystery with feel of australian lifestyle/culture, not bad, at least i finished the movie




Not too bad mystery centered around schizophrenia .... with twists

If got 4k and surround sound, this short aerial fly thru of few STAR WARS planets is quite nice and peaceful to watch ...
