Watched The Art of Racing in the Rain this weekend. This is one of the time when Rotten Tomatoes not inline with majority of audience. Story being told from the dog perspective, it's a family / life drama that will bring your emotion to a roller-coaster ride. The best kind of people (and dog) and the worst kind of people are very well represented in this movie. It reminds us the reality of life. Very much recommended.

The Art of Racing in the Rain is a movie that will stir emotion. Milo Ventimiglia and Amanda Seyfried should be applauded for their acting but Kevin Costner steals the show as Enzo the dog's voice.
luckily, a few good TV shows... these are "expanded reimagined remakes" of movies..., do check them out if u liked the movies.
.. Jack Ryan S02... this season resembles a bit of Clear and Present Danger 1994 (harrison ford). S03, next year, is rumored to be a reimagined Hunt for Red October 1990.
.. Treadstone... a new series inspired and based on the Jason Bourne movies.
.. War of the Worlds... 2 series... 1 BBC, 1 Fox-Canal... remake, reimagined show of HG Well's classic novel and Spielberg/Tom Cruise movie 2005.
so many different versions and entities, so difficult to make a choice. long2 time ago you have VHS & Betamax, one prevails... then when HD came, there's Blu-ray & HD-DVD... luckily that war ended early now with the introduction of 4K Ultra HD, you have two entities of HDR, namely HDR10/HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. when will this end.... i understand, technology will keeps on evolving and increase demands, but surely not our pocket...
having said all that, can't wait to survey a good and affordable 4k Ultra HD tv...
You not yet invest 4K? I think is time for the investment. If you can afford then get everything include Dolby Vision, else a 4K HDR10 TV is far than enough.
HDR10+ is not that important in my opinion as it seems won't be a standard and hardly find HDR10+ title. Dolby Vision do have some but not many as well. Anyway all is backward compatible.
Midsommar - unsurprising / surprising ending! If you love cult film, you should watch this. 4 star.
From the director of Hereditary. The director said this is his 1st horror film, hmmm... this is not a horror film but Hereditary is a horror film where the director said it is his drama film... I think Ari Aster the director had issue on film genres. Anyway both is Cult.

47 Meters Down & 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. This movie from stupid to extremely stupid. Don't waste your time especially the 2nd episode! I give 1st one 2.5 Star and 2nd one 0.5 Star

Finish watching 3022. It actually not bad, it may don't have wow effect, seems low budget, slightly shaggy camera, but this unusual idea of space movie is actually Ok. 3 Star.
