LTZ
I am curious. If it's not classified information, what is the watch system practiced by TLDM sub crews? Also, what kind of onboard entertainment do crews get, if any I have been reading up on watch systems as they feature in sailing ship novels This post has been edited by KLthinker91: Sep 23 2020, 06:55 PM |

QUOTE(sdin3269 @ Oct 11 2020, 11:34 AM) 1) no real proof the S300 network is active. It's certainly not in firing position which it ought to be if it was ready to launch.2) early SAM systems like S-300 and earlier models of Patriot have a firing arc, they don't have 360-degree coverage. This launcher as you can see is pointed away from the drone. In fact this is how the Yemenis/Iranians managed to hit the Saudi oil pipelines; because their Patriot batteries were oriented away from the attack direction. 3) IF the video is unedited (IF!) and the camera platform is heading down towards the TEL, it's probably not Bayraktar but Harop, a suicide drone/reusable loitering missile. Bayraktar wouldn't be heading down towards the launcher, but Harop would when making its final attack. 4) drones of the Bayraktar type are very vulnerable to medium/long-range SAMs like the S-300, as they are as large as small aircraft, slower, less manoeuvrable, emit more electronic noise, and by the nature of their use, hang around upstairs all day observing the target. See the difference in size: Bayraktar ![]() Harop ![]() ffrozz liked this post

QUOTE(atreyuangel @ Nov 7 2020, 02:48 PM) For CMS the last time it was suppose to be installed Tacticos in Malaysia Well I don't know where you got your sources from but you should have known better, Navy money or not, Malaysia has always always fucked us overFor radar you know that the standard maritime radar also used in ships larger then 5 tonne displacement. Well at that time I meant the military radar and sensor and from what I've seen there is still none. Even KM Bagan Datuk has way more radar and sensors then this gun boat The 2 units more that was suppose to be built by Bousted, that was suppose to be the benchmark with locally redesign ships based on the LMS In a way, the government has decide no more LMS and requesting a new types of ships. LMS was never about getting useful boats but about pleasing the Chinese so that they could dig You know who out of the 1mdb mess |

QUOTE(Mai189 @ Feb 18 2021, 02:41 PM) I didn't go to school in SG, but even if I did, so what? It would be my achievement to excel in a competitive environment and something to be rightfully proud of.Here you are, you've done nothing to materially contribute to the SAF, what have you to be proud of individually? NOTHING. |
