i believe it always depends on what the bank needs at that point of time. if they want to maintain certain number of cardholders, they might grant you the rebate. anyway rm25 rebate is cheaper to maintain if compare with the welcome gift for a new cardholder.

but if at that time they are looking for spending customers, then it might get rejected.

so it's hard to be sure, you will need to try it out.

.... but you may ask for rebate or promo or anything, some agents might request for some minimum spend which is still quite easy to achieve
