yes - provided you get OTP. Only way to do that is not to add your card into the app and do adhoc top ups.

****Many online/FB charities , i approached them and offered 10--20%  deep discount, no one took it.....i wondered why ....

because of audit trail challenges.

Also charities has limited cash funds.. more important to keep those for expenses that people cannot donate.

I would suggest you donate wholesale - and do a "collection" among your contacts to offset the cost a bit.

those charity also need to buy goods as well,  tesco/giant/aeon etc etc .
becos of this experience , now i dun trust those FB calling charity .
On surface : sound goood to be charity .
In reality : for own ego ,or own good. After all , human are instinct  selfish .

nvm , i will wait further a few months ,
when really still have left over, i dun mind going to old.folks/orpahange to donate those voucher.
*ya, i;m selffish too , i bought those voucher for CB .
**i offered 10%-20% deep discount, where i made losses of 5%--15% , and on top , paying advance for those voucher too.
***IF MCO EXTEND further, where more ppl are in need , i'm sure those voucher would be really helpful .
****2nd though , maybe , just maybe . Some of those charity , some masuk own pocket ....... afterall , who is going to audit them ? Only God know.

NGO, non-profits have rules to follow. Nevermind OOT and it is clear your POV is focused on your own problem statement and "why others don't see the good deal you are offering".

ok noted for the best advice. What about shopee? i using saved card for shopee also. Do i need to remove the card and key in the card details manually and receive OTP to entitle cashback? Thanks
*
please multi-quote in future

For shopee my experience so far shopee will still ask for OTP. Lazada won't. But i have not shopped on shopee lately with PBB.

New retail transaction which unbilled but posted will lose the privilege of interest-free period.
Will this new retail transaction subject to interest charges too?

P/S: I'm not the victim here. I'm trying to breakdown the problem for our poor friend.
*
yes. that's y i recommend put the card on ice until the next statement date, after settling all balances (statemented + unbilled)

Yes, this month statement CB shows RM33 without the CR sign, meaning it deducts RM33 (refund) + RM38 (CB for this month statement) = RM71.

Even if it take back the full RM38 (cap for the CB refund, it should be contra 0.
*
this is interesting as my own experience is contra of the current month spending.. basically you have to spend above RM800 so (RM800 +RM634) in April to see any cashback.

Did the RM33 entry come in at the end of the statement month or right after the reversal?

Still waiting for the reply. If they take RM38 CB+ this RM33.xx, the amount is RM71.xx. This value is less than 6% of the air ticket cost, so yeah..system haywire
*
how much did you spend for the month?

could it be a scenario where after you deduct the expenses for the month, it is still -ve..

i.e. if your refund is 800, and you spend 250

then it is still -550 --> RM33 claw back of credit

pbb can't claw back RM48 if the refund is RM800 as the previous month the total cb given is only RM38 and RM6 is from another expenses
the total cb given for the refund RM800 is only worth RM32, not RM48 and they can't just calculate the full cb refund on this month

this is generate by system auto calculation and need CS to manual calculate the correct figure
*
agree - i am trying to decipher how the system calculated - not whether it is correct to do so. As Human Nature mentioned he cannot calculate how RM33 came about.

Now i wonder, if their system is this 'clever', will i get the full cashback this month because I just leave the refund amount and didnt transfer out. Will still show negative value  hmm.gif
*
QUOTE(snowswc @ May 4 2020, 08:39 PM)
Huh? I think unlikely to happen because you didn’t perform any trx and is just carry forward the balance to May only.

I really think the system a bit cacat because even the system can’t figure out how much you earned from the 1500 but as per the cap at 38 per month, the system should set the threshold at rm38 for reversal instead of no cap. Imagine if the trx was rm15k, you earned 38 but they reverse  rm900 cash back. 😂
*
what i suspect is the system / code to calculate cashback is not the same section/process that determines limit. First part will check for eligibility and calculate the cashback, Once all the cashback has been calculated, only does it go to a limit check like

if cashback >= limit, cashback set to limit, else cashback

don't forget they have revise the cashback multiple times. For sure they want a simple way to modify it rather than pay their IT/ consultant more money everytime they tweak the figure.

so Human Nature's bill is simply failing to meet this as its "cashback value" is ending -ve

that said next month it will be a C/F balance so it will not be a transaction line item, and thus will not have cashback calculated. It will be treated as "overpayment" like if you pay abit more to round the figure of your bill

Follow up on this. The bank has responded with the exact calculation and what we found out is true. Thus they will refund RM71.xx DR minus RM31.xx (CB for the flight ticket) = RM40.xx.

What pissed me of is - they will seek approval from management (subject to discretion) on a one time goodwill basis.

So I told them to retract the statement - one time good will basis.
*
don't und the "retract the statement" option

different ppl get diff offers. be glad PBB offers easy to achieve ways to get RM25 reimbursement. I mean most ppl will use at least RM600 on their cards right (except maybe harder for QV)

gonna wait a few days to my new statement date. no point spend additional RM750 for non guaranteed RM25

although am tempted to change statement date to 12/13 of the month if all promos also start 15th (as of late)

i suspect they dunno my cvc as my friend told me that samsung pay will send otp over to my email in order to enroll

Yes I got the email from PBB on this. I was wondering why suddenly
*
i just got off a call with PBB CS. I have been told to ignore it.

May not have gotten this 100% correctly but It seems the merchant processor of BigPay for some reason sent/flood a request to PBB for this Samsung Pay thing. PBB is aware and currently working to rectify it.

did you save your card? if no OTP PBB normally don't consider as online cashback.

to guarantee cashback in the past, not recommended to save card, so that OTP is triggered everytime.

unless you did get an OTP then you will be the first reported incident
