i told her cant get waiver i will just cancel the card
she say check feb statement see got or not
not too bad still got chance

I’ve called to CS asking for rebate 3 weeks ago, been told that it’s subject to management approval. Until today, no rebate sighted in the statement.
I guess the rebate mechanism no longer works.

Made the call again just now as suggested. After ended the call, logged in into PBe, immediately saw a credit of MYR25 as CASH REWARDS/DEBIT REVERSAL ADJUSTMENT in the statement.

I am new to the Public Bank Islamic credit card as i just started to have and use it early this month, but in the letter it stated statement date on the 28th, the same as the conventional ones.  Somehow the statement as well as the cashback is not available yet today.

I called CS and he said that the statement might be ready tomorrow as it may not be ready because it is the weekend?  The answer seems crap but is this the practise for Islamic card?

I got the card approval SMS on 5th Jan.  Serive tax charged on the 6th.

So regarding the cashback?  Will the Jan and Feb cashback be split? Since the Jan statement didn't happen.

Just wondering for new card the SST memang cannot rebate or is subject to staff issue?
Got my new PiB Visa and tried to ask for SST rebate, the cs told me new card cannot rebate.

I managed to waived my SST for last year. I called asking for rebate but the CS herself said waive 😂

OK, that's super weird since I don't have any transaction on this PIB MC card for that period of time since this card only gives cashback for grocery & departmental store but somehow I was credited with this reward.

Totally 0 transaction within the period of 02-DEC to 01-JAN lol


As you can see above, I only made transfer to the card for payback in November & after that, I only use it again on 12-21 JAN for ZCity.

Can't show you the screenshot from the PBB website since the 2 months ago statement is blank.
