QUOTE(Lingohal @ Sep 25 2019, 08:36 AM) I have tried resetting at Shell and BHP before. Cancelling is just a button. Only that Shell machine will print out receipt after cancellation, wasting paper 😅. I have tried once at Petronas and it couldn't be cancelled so I never want to go back. Petronas has no buttons to cancel and lifting up the pump and putting it back did not cancel it. In the end, got to pump, and RM200 was held. RM200 will not be held at Shell or BHP after cancellation. I can confirm that we can’t cancel the transaction at Petronas. |

QUOTE(cucikaki @ Sep 30 2019, 12:39 PM) Hi guy, I’ve been reading that Public Bank will charge like 1% or 1.2% on overseas transaction. Is this included in the amount shown in the statement? As I don’t see it seperately in my statement before? Can check out my post about PB Visa rate, https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=94097061I’m planning to pay around £300 online, which based on people in lowyat, Bigpay exchange rate is much better. But I know public bank has that 8% cashback offer for limited to RM100. But is Bigpay exchange rate is much better than the RM100 cashback that PBE Visa could offer? Not really sure to post this question in Bigpay or PBB forums |

QUOTE(Whit @ Sep 30 2019, 11:42 PM) Anyone did appeal & success before? I’m having basic Income SGD2300 (excluding OT) but kena rejected , for my first cc application (no Ccris record cos no loan) 😢 QUOTE(tee_ys @ Oct 1 2019, 12:08 AM) I checked with public bank before, the exchange rate they used is 1 to 1 so your basic Income is RM2300. Can try a basic card such as Younique (24k per annum). |

So far, I have been using QV for the following transactions.
1/9 - 3xx.xx (contactless & pin; > 250) 1/9 - 1.xx (contactless) 5/9 - 2xx.xx (eWallet) 28/9 - 7x.xx (contactless) *12/10 - 1xx.xx (contactless) *12/10 - 1xx.xx (contactless) 3/11 - 1xx.xx (contactless) 8/11 - 2xx.xx (contactless; < 250) **9/11 - 1xx.xx (contactless) **9/11 - 1xx.xx (contactless & pin) * Same merchant, same amount - I was not onsite, ask my wife to wave on behalf. No issue for both contactless and does not require my pin. ** Same merchant, same amount - I was not onsite, ask my wife to wave on behalf. In the second wave, the system asked for the pin. I have to tell my wife my secret pin. |

I think there is no fixed rule from PB. Keep using until the system asks for PIN.
For example, look at my case. QUOTE(jefftan4888 @ Nov 9 2019, 02:16 PM) So far, I have been using QV for the following transactions. PB CC Transaction Description: UNIVERSITY MALAYA MED CTRKUALA LUMPUR MY
Bought medicine @ PharmUMMC (Receipt Name) PayWave RM2xx.xx using QV got 5% cashback. So PharmUMMC is not considered as Government for PB. But I also paid RM2x.xx using BigPay on the same day. It is under Government Services. Note: PB excludes government-related payments for 5% cashback. This post has been edited by jefftan4888: Nov 23 2019, 10:38 AM |

QUOTE(wct @ Apr 22 2020, 07:47 PM) Oh I see, just curious seeing someone saying mostly on quantum or infinite but I have chosen to take only Sig. I have cards from citi and mbb so it doesn't make sense to apply for Infinite on top of Signature with not much benefits besides of the "infinite" status having the hassle to waive the annual fees from 2nd year onward on top of SST. PB VI AF is Free for Life. SST can be easily getting rebate. No harm to keep this card for PB campaign. |
