If Direct Debit, no CB. General rule.

You should check the marketing/referral code used for your application. Different channels different timing may have different incentive.

You give the card details online, then the merchant debit your credit card account, instead of going through 3D secure verification (with OTP). It is beyond your control, you may not see the difference.

Now Boost (saved card) doesn't use Direct Debit, very kiasi still going through Online verification.

Today is 4 weeks + 1 day from 3/11.

Some campaigns are still going on. (Visa)

(1) PBV: spend RM3000/5000/8000 to win RM68/RM118/RM188 till 28/2.

(2) FWCB: CNY Hamper at Eu Yan Sang, Hai-O etc, spend RM888 to win RM68, till 5/2.

(3) PBD: CNY at some participating restaurants, spend RM1188/RM888 to win RM88/RM48, till 14/2.

You need to apply for another credit line.
Conventional bank and Islamic Bank don't share a credit facility.
i.e. you need to have 1 credit facility from PB and another credit facility from Public Islamic Bank. Same to Maybank and Maybank Islamic, legally they are different financial institutions.

You may have 1 credit line from Public Bank Berhad (conventional), 1 credit line from Public Islamic Bank Berhad (Islamic).

If both cards are issued by Public Bank Berhad, then you are given 1 credit line only.

Eg
PB CC1 credit limit : RM5000
PB CC2 credit limit: RM10000
The shared credit limit is capped at RM10000.
If you spend RM4000 using CC1, then available CL for CC1 & CC2 will be RM1000 & RM6000 respectively.
If you spend RM4000 using CC2, then available CL for CC1 & CC2 will be RM5000 and RM6000 respectively.
(very likely your CL for both CC1 and CC2 are same value)

You should study the card features.
If you are pumping petrol at Petron, it is a good card.
If you are participating in PB's spending campaign, it is a good card.

Even a lot of people give up PB Quantum MasterCard, but you could use it to get >10% discount on Sabah Electricity (at Lazada App) till December 2022 (not now) though zero CB from PB.

Set PIN at PBe then auto activate.

Pay utilities at Lazada, RM250 enough.
+ RM750 not e-wallet / utilities / Govt / Direct Debit.

Use TNG Visa to pay JPJ. Indirectly 3% CB.
