QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Jul 7 2019, 06:47 PM) Level51 Slate-15 - slightly weak CPU cooling Thanks bro.Illegear Onyx Lite Commandos Katana 5 - weak CPU cooling (tweaked out of the box for better performance though) Either you get a good unit or a lemon...and if you get lemon, good luck with the RMA Thermals in GU502 aren't that good (barely OK even after tweaking) Max weight preferred in kg? No preference on battery life? I just configured both Illegear below: Onyx Lite (RM5.4k) i7-8750 mechanical keyboard GTX 1060 1.95kg | 18.5mm Prodigy (RM5.5k) i7-9750 membrane keyboard GTX 1660 1.75kg | 19.9mm Both have pros n cons. might have to visit the showroom to decide between the two lol |

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Jul 8 2019, 01:18 AM) Hmm, 8GB RAM is good enough, so upgradable or not is not an issue.. Prefer to have good display such that video/drama quality can be better.. Perhaps dGPU is better for me, but if iGPU can support light gaming, and ok video quality then is okay to me.. Thx |

Lenovo Ideapad S540-14IWL - all the listings in lazada, shopee only got model with fhd 250 nits, 45% srgb which is crappy screen
in lenovo website, said that up to 300 nits, 100% srgb screen but no button to buy any suggestions? thin and light, at least nvidia mx250 (prefer full-power mx250), 8gb ram, metal body no plastic acer swift 3 is near perfect for my usage but too bad nvidia mx250 is crippled version |

I thought they will come onsite service?? Sorry, long time no change laptop, last purchase is asus but years ago It's a fairly new thread lol - pinned at first pageYou might get a good unit or a lemon (their QC is very inconsistent now) - and if you get a lemon (either with issues out of the box or after several months/a year usage), good luck with Asus warranty. No onsite for Asus. They used to be good - but 'used to be' This post has been edited by ZM Fong: Jul 8 2019, 01:29 PM |
