no one in their right mind would bother to fake a epiphone.
plus theres always a serial number, and from the looks of that its a pre-2004 model.

anyway, the epi LP classic just has open coils, unlike the gibson one where they also have a thinner neck.

You'd be surprise how many fake Epiphones they were in China......
I mean, seriously....... All the fake Gibsons AND Epiphones that you can shake a stick at.

btw, my epi LP i think has to go.
a new addition to my family has arrived in the form of the epi iommi SG

the iommi unplugged sounds much brighter than my gibsons.
guess due to whatever 'mahogany' epi are using.

Actually MII > MIC........ I've seen some MII that are quite well made.... almost comparable to MIK sometimes.

It's the MIC ones that are a worry........ because quality control there SUCKS.

also dont forget all the major recall of millions of MIC toys in the past few months.
