For those who are interested, What i did to the knee joint was acctually pretty simple. Here are the steps...

Step 1-As you can c here, I separated the white piece of armour that is blocking the movement of the upper thigh. I then proceeded to widen the hole(diameter-2mm) at the inner frame.I also made a simillar hole on the armour piece. A simillar diameter plaplate was then fited into the hole and the armour piece. After letting the cement cure overnight, I placed on the entire armour parts together to measure how much wider do i need to 'elevate' the little armour piece to enable the upper thigh armour to pass through. After that, i removed the extra plaplates. The following pic is the end result.


Step 2- After dealing with the bottom piece, Now i have to remove the plastic cable look-alike's on the knee joint as these pieces hinder the movement of the upper thigh. This is the part where it's a little hard to describe...basically, you have to study the knee joint by yourself to c which part you have to slice off to allow the upper thigh to move freely. After removing the unwanted pieces, drill holes at the previous position where the plastic cables were.One on top, and one on the bottom. Grab some malleable wire* i used the koto wires which were easy enuff to shape, but were also strong enough to withstand any movement.Diameter-0.8mm* and some uh...what do you call those things...the insulator for the wires? Basically the plastic thing that covers the internal wires in cables. Slide the koto wire into the 'insulator' and from there, measure the distance needed to place the wire onto the knee armour. The most important thing about shaping the wire is that this wire needs to be as close to the knee joint as possible so that the upper thigh armour can pass through the wire without any problems.


That is all! if you want further leg bending, you have to remove more armour parts which will alter the looks of the original model.

for the first circle.. i cut away some of the parts,so it wont hit with the leg armour.

then back of the leg got something long long like tat de..but changing the side,it can be lower bbut i need extend the feets...

theres suppose to be to sharp thiny...also cut away those....the pipe behind the leg also got cut away...cut here cut there scary..



final,as you can see,the leg joint de ball thingy wont hit with the armour

Just a question... Can Mr. Mark Setter be used over decals instead of before applying decals ? Im having problems with my decals not sticking properly... its ugly leh. Is it possible to apply abit of Mr. Mark Setter over them ?

I cant seem to find Mr. Mark Softer in Malaysia.... so im looking for an alternative.. any suggestions ?

i wan ask if i using the hardware shop sell one spay can ? coz need buy alot color ..

lol hardware use on your own risk lol some spay can can kill ur gundam instantly or kill you along with it XD recommend use only for model kits paint to ensure safely. nothing cheap when comes fully paint gundams

hmm , buying those model kits spay will make me makan maggi more and more week =.= , so dun know the hardware shop sell one spay can use or not .. if can , can save some money ..

what type or spay u using ?? Ab or can ??

dude, after spraying the gold... dun 4get to spray topcoat to protect the gold.. trust me.. i've done mine.. afta 2 months begin to fade.. can tell from topcoat and without..

yes.. u can.. i've tried one brand which is very useful.. get nippon paint brand spray cans.. they hav variety of colors even gold and silver.. surprisingly i found flat black which i tot it dun hav...
i have used a bit for 1 or 2 of my gundam.. my next gundam will be fully used by tat brand... i bought Mr.hobby spray cans last time, RM30 per can.. ouch.. i think i bought more than 10 alr.. crazy la.. kenot tahan d..
so try nippon paint, other brand might really kill ur gundam but this brand is ok.

Using Spraycan... dont have ab tools yet... Mr. Hobby No. 9.... yeah... and a double layer of top coat. because have test without top coat at my freedom silver color is fading...

it just.. hard to find the nippon paint spray... i have try using bosny also... but need to spray far away... too close it can melt the plastic... lucky i test it on runner....

so bosny not recommended... for nippon paint, i tried b4 spraying close also no prob....

for first timer can use la..but the anchor brand...i also using industry spraycan last time in the past for competitions
