QUOTE(fcuk90 @ Dec 11 2008, 04:01 PM) no. if you only change the CPU, u don't have to. even if you change the whole computer, u can still use your old windows installation perfectlyQUOTE(hafiez @ Dec 11 2008, 09:08 PM) to have stabilty, it is advisable to reformat ur pc after changing the processor. ram are too cheap. upgrade now and be happybtw guys, my noob question is: is it OK to run Vista Ultimate by using only 2GB 800MHz memory? or i have to upgrade to 4GB? QUOTE(ruffaz @ Dec 12 2008, 12:52 AM) with vista, more memory is always better. but be reminded, vista 32bit can only address 3.5gb. if you need more than that (god knows why), then switch to 64bit vista |

not worth to cf 3850. Just get a 4870. Casing is not a factor when installing hardware just mind your cooling system. It is important to have intake fan & exhaust fan. go to 4870x2 or 4850x2 is depends on your budget and your need, just get them according to your nid and budget,
Added on December 14, 2008, 4:38 pmIf standard case cooling coolermaster elite series should be good enough. Make sure u install a 120mm fan for intake and exhaust. Added on December 14, 2008, 4:40 pm@Firdaus impossible to find wifi mobo under RM300 unless 2nd hand. This post has been edited by hiroki04030: Dec 14 2008, 04:40 PM |

QUOTE(atomik @ Dec 14 2008, 05:18 PM) err, i have a question. but hope you guys will answer it. don't need to go for HD 4870*2 CF or HD 4850*2 CF.i'm planning to do crossfire by using sapphire hd 3850. is it worth to do that?? some more, my mobo asus cannot install in my casing powerlogic futura 220. what should i do now??? doh.gif i feel sad because forgot to ask the sales person about the casing requirement to install this mobo. help me people. in the future, should i go with hd4870*2 or HD4850*2? your 19" monitor will not gain the full benefits of HD 4870 what else CF. HD 4850 would just be nice enough. and if you still have $$ to waste and make it CF, make sure u change ur PSU too. |
