seems like there's a new 65" for ck1x and it comes with Deep Chroma Display, similar to Panasonic's Hexa Chroma Drive?

The Deep Chroma Display technology adopts a “six axis colour management” which incorporates the complementary colours of magenta, yellow and cyan in addition to the three primary colours of red, green, and blue. As a result, subtle tones are depicted distinctly with colour balance kept intact to bring colour closer to that of nature. On top of this, the TV can demonstrate real colours through the 123% wider colour gamut, offering a larger palette of colours for viewers to enjoy.

Very difficult to find review of malaysia modal TVs to find out the number of nits.

mostly Review on net is in US/ UK, we don't have those modals here in Msia.

300-350 quite low to perform well for HDR........

Yup,
your model at least do what is in specification.
Sharp should add notification on screen, but I beleive this is also big step for them.

yes... i would say if the TV has less that 500 nits brightness , you will just see poor details in the dark areas. nod.gif
which means HDR performance is poor . cos they use cheaper LED display .

in short whether Dolby vision or HDR10 you dont get the full benefits .
in short you need to pay more for a better TV with above average brightness.

from Google
700 nits . for optimum HDR
In our experience, HDR works best with TVs that have at least 700 nits of peak brightness. You'll get some of the HDR effect (vivid laser shots, more detail in dark areas) with TVs generating less than that, but the overall palette can be quite dark

Need help.

I have one TV box for months. It's screen color in normal mode when am using it with my previous 835 TV.

After changing to CK1X, it's screen color become very dark. I try to adjust from TV unset user mode, like changing the brightness. There is one screen resolution setting in the TV box, deep color mode, but that's off.

I noticed my TV box display color is in white when TV just started. After a few seconds it refresh and then screen become yellowish. Anyone know what's the culprit? My TV box support 4k-60hz display, do you think is the cable quality issue? I did tried 720p, still same color.
