I wonder is genting able to absorb that amount of density and development in such a short time..
1) Tropicana Grandhill 2) Pavillion Genting 3) Celestia Genting 4) Sycal Genting Sempah 5) Genting Sky City 6) IBN highland City 7) Grand Ion majestic And bare in mind, these development is not small scale / stand alone development. THEY ARE MASSIVE. Can genting swallow these development at 1 go? Will genting build another road access ? Pollution? Landslide? Genting becomes the next HOTSPOT for tourism in asia? |

Both parties have settled out of court and RWGenting will able to use certain rights in the theme park, valid concern on the upcoming massive construction impact given the traffic almost at standstill during peak season and bad weather

No la, Genting like YTL is IPP only, only selling to TNB not consumer.
But actually developer can have such thing like nego with TNB and charge the power users on that particular development themselves. But I doubt Tropicana would do that |

It’s more on the problem of getting water supply instead of environmental problem. Environmental could be one of the cause but not the main one. It’s challenging to get water supply in GH.

unpredictable climate change and large scale hill development, I would think this is high risk project, rainfalls is getting severe every year, flood is getting serious too, many record breaking precipitation is observed everywhere around the globe.
global warming is irreversible now, high sea water temperature means high evaporation and more clouds, it leads to severe weather conditions, it is very difficult to guarantee this kind of building which built on high slope can withstand soil erosion caused by unprecedented rainfall. |

SA did mention high chances of LADs kicking in for early batches owners.
